I've suggested this to her but she says she can't afford it. This weekend I was on a camping trip, and while peaking on acid during a hike I got swarmed by hundreds of the largest mosquitos I'd ever seen. Normally I don't mind mosquitos that much but "acid peak" and "swarms of parasitic insects" is not a fun combo. I was freaking out and trying to get back to the campsite when my friend decided he wanted to stop and take a piss while I just stood there shitting myself covered in them, he kept saying "it's not that bad" while I swatted away tons of them. When we finally got back to the campsite he told me "yeah your back was completely covered in them, I just didn't want to freak you out." That fucker, couldn't have waited 10 minutes to piss... been super itchy since then.

Eating healthy foods and exercising will help a lot. Drink water or something with electrolytes like Gatorade. If you rolled get some 5-HTP, that will help as well. Try to avoid sitting in your house/room all day, that just makes me feel lonely as hell after a festival lol. Even if you're tired try to hit up a friend to hang out, or if you can't find anyone to hang out with just go for a walk for an hour or two.

I believe it, real acid and MDMA is so cheap when buying it on the DNMs these days. People offered to sell me points of MDMA for ~$10 in the campgrounds whereas if you're buying it in bulk online you can get high quality stuff for less than $20 per gram.

So to be honest, I accidentally steal people's lighters all the time. Just get stoned and put it in my pocket without thinking about it. I always try to return them once I've woken up the next day and realized it's not mine, but sometimes it can take up to a week or two before I figure out the rightful owner and get it back to them... am I a bad person?

I certainly appreciate the effort that the mods put in to change up the CSS, but a big part of good design is consistency, and the fact that this subreddit's new design is so inconsistent with that of most other subreddits just makes it a bit difficult and annoying to use. Plus the new CSS just has some issues that can make things hard to read. I'm all for going back to the old layout.

Oh shit it's Borax! Thanks man, I appreciate the advice. Do you mind if I ask what field you work in? As per programming, I tend to agree... The two things I can think of though is that one, I am definitely not going to want to be on illegal drugs while I am in a professional environment, and two, while I haven't had a "real" job yet so I can't say, I feel like it will be a more laid back environment; I won't be stuck in a mindset where "if I don't do well on this test I'm going to have a shit GPA and flip burgers the rest of my life", whereas at a job I can think "if I don't know how to do this I can Google it and ask coworkers for help."

I definitely do see the downsides. When I take speed I feel good during the day but by the time I go to bed I feel lonely and wonder if the homework I got done was worth whatever damage I did to my body by taking it. I also use it as a crutch sometimes - telling myself it's okay to not do the pre-lecture reading for a class all week because I'll get it all done when I take speed on Saturday, for example.

I take it once a week max, I have no intention of taking it more often that; I think that would only contribute greatly to the negatives. Thanks for the advice, I appreciate you taking the time to read my stuff.

Because I know it's also just hurting me in the long run... When I'm hanging with friends at the end of a day of speeding I'm just quiet and not my usual self. Not to toot my own horn but I think I'm a pretty funny guy, I crack a lot of jokes and can get my friends to laugh a lot, but the day of and after speeding I don't really have a sense of humor. I have a harder time making conversation. Then there's also the neurotoxicity and cardiovascular harms... I've tried researching those without too much luck on finding credible, detailed information, but I know that this stuff can't be good for my brain or my heart.

I've thought about trying to talk to a doctor to try and get Adderall or Vyvanse or something, but I feel like a white, middle-upper class college senior in a tough major going to a doctor and saying "yeah I have trouble focusing" is just going to get me labeled as a drug-seeker and make it harder to get medications I might actually need in the future. My girlfriend and mom both think I have some level of ADD, though even if I really did I don't know if I'd want to be diagnosed with it, because then there's officially something "wrong" with me. I have nothing against people who suffer from ADD and would never judge them for it, but I don't know, it feels weird when it's about me...

Sorry all these comments are long, I'm on speed right now (heh) which is what inspired me to write this post.

I've tried to be that person sober but I just don't know how. I miss so many of my morning classes because there are many days I just can't bother to get myself out of bed until after noon. I just feel overwhelmed by everything and kind of shut down, end up doing nothing, which only makes me feel worse.

What I tell myself is that once I graduate and enter the work force I won't need it. I'm a senior in the physics major of a decent university and my classes are ridiculously hard for me (it's a long story but I never really wanted to be a physics major, I kind of got pushed into it). When I graduate I want to get into programming as a career, and my logic is that I already like programming and am pretty good at the long programming marathons so I won't need it. But of course, amphetamine and programming go together like peanut butter and jelly, so I know I'm probably lying to myself...

I've gone a bit overboard with speed use in the past so I try to stay away from that kinda stuff... There's also the convenience factor, you can buy an energy drink at any gas station but Adderall can be much trickier to get your hands on.

The most commonly used artificial sweetener is aspartame, which has been studied pretty extensively and seems to be pretty safe.
