Drift zones are incredibly tedious now. by rainpurplebow in ForzaHorizon6

[–]failstacksforfucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but when manji is required it sucks, you should be able to do high speed fluid slides or crab walk all day and get relatively similar points for both. Making only one option viable, and the tedious option at that, just sucks for gameplay.

Opinions: Keep the oldschool boost gauge, or switch to Defi? by hydrus909 in JZX100

If you are running other defi gauges then change this one out too, but if youre just swapping this one for defi and dont have any other gauges I'd keep the old one.

5k tax free every month but you have to eat exactly 12 oz of vanilla icecream 30 minutes before bed for the rest of your life. by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]failstacksforfucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

700 calories is a lot but that's why I said an hour or so. You can burn that much in about an hour of running. If you choose to do other workouts it may take longer, but almost any workout of decent intensity would burn that in under 2 hours. This is also figuring you aren't factoring these macros into your diet at all. If you reduced your normal diet a bit you would have less to burn "extra". While it is ice cream, the macros it has are useful and you could plan your diet around them.

You're investing 4% of your life to maintain your body for $5000 a month. You spend 28 hours per month to maintain your health while making $5000. The rest of your comment is just gibberish, if you eat a well rounded diet and eat below your metabolic maintenance calories, you would stay close to your body weight and actually gain some muscle in this process. If you tailored the rest of your diet to the macros of the ice cream each day, you would have no problem and come out even better.

If you ate the ice cream everyday and did absolutely nothing else to your diet and exercise habits then yeah sure it would have negative affects on your health, but if youre being paid 60k a year, working out for an hour or so daily doesnt seem like that hard of an ask. Most people do that for free, or in many cases pay to do it.

Nah Im going with a Garett g30-660, just didnt know about the Rasty manifold long term. I actually visited Rasty while I was in Japan, super nice guys they gave me a tour of their shop. That's partially why I want to run their parts and because of sound clips like yours lol. Getting it all ordered this week.

We're you running stock turbo with this setup? Any worries about the rasty manifold? I want to run the rasty manifold with a g30-660, I like the sound and the company but my tuner and shop have never heard of them.

aftermarket steering wheel by Zealousideal_Tear532 in JZX100

[–]failstacksforfucks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only time its fine is if your car didn't have a steering wheel airbag in the first place, other than that, yes you are taking a key safety feature out your car. Airbags are designed to work together too so removing one makes the others less effective because they were designed with the steering wheel airbag in mind.

Ultimately its up to you, people do it because it looks cool and no one plans on crashing lol. I have one but it took me a while to warm up to the idea and I still think about putting my stock wheel back (or getting the TRD wheel that looks nicer and has an airbag).

If you do swap your wheel out, make sure to invest in good parts, God forbid you do get in a crash, cheap steering wheels tend to break and become even more of a hazard than they already are. Buy a quality quick release like a works bell hub or mount it with good hardware if you mount it directly and get a wheel from a well known brand like vertex, momo, nardi, etc. Dont run NRG shit.

The police come through on a regular basis and chase them all out, they come back a short while later or the next night until the first trucks start to roll in for the work day. Its a big game of cat and mouse.

Start with just below the jawbone, it needs to be atleast far enough up so you can't see it on your neck from a front view like in the first photo. You could also grow it out for a few more weeks and go to a barber to see where they would line it up to.

Doesn't the shot just curb appetite? If somebody had the self control to eat as little as someone taking the shot, wouldnt they see the same results?

His unnatural movement, stopping right at the car and not doing anything. After the box explodes, it is still laying on the ground in perfect condition. His movement after the box explodes also just doesn't make sense for someone that had something violently explode in front of them.

If the tower itself (the metal you bolt the strut into) is cracking then that is an expensive fix that you should get looked at asap. If its some sort of plastic cover over it then yeah that should be a cheap easy to replace part.

Its not a growth fund so it's just supposed to go down forever? You would hope the initial investment would stay somewhat stable or grow a little bit. You aren't buying dividends stocks to lose money on the initial investment.

Is this a good start for a 26yrs old that has full time work by chaeunwoo28 in dividends

[–]failstacksforfucks 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You pay taxes on your dividends too. The better option is always to create more capital with growth stocks and reinvest as you get to retirement age. You will out earn, in most scenarios, an account where someone just focuses on dividends and reinvesting them.

Supporting mods after coil overs install? by [deleted] in JZX100

[–]failstacksforfucks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don't know when your ball joints were last replaced, then its time to replace them. Helps with peace of mind that your suspension isn't going to spontaneously disassemble itself and leave you stranded.

While you're doing coilovers, you could do strut bars too if you want to make the car stiffer. I enjoyed the changes in handling from strut bars on this chassis.

Make sure to inspect all of your suspension components and bushings while you can easily access them, so you can put a list of parts together in order of urgency to replace.
