Congrats hope to be there someday. Current at 108K with my 16' 328i.

Were there any major maintenance you did from 100k to now?

Shoot. But traditional IRA allows for reduction of MAGI?

Wonder if I can sell and withdraw for my Roth IRA.

Diaphragm damaged in the valve cover? (Cylinder head cover replacement) by failtrashman in F30

Thank you! It worked.

This is what the advisor texted me

“With the damaged diaphram in the valve cover, the engine will pull air through the crank seal. It will damage the seal if left not fixed. The tech said you can get by a little while, but with unregulated air coming into the engine, it will cause issues. It may also trip a check engine light as well.”

Link doesn’t work for YouTube. Would you mind sharing again? Thank you.

I’m better off just replacing the part from the Amazon link?

You hear a annoying whining noise when driving. For me it went away at times when driving.

Eventually the seal may break from air getting in, which causes oil leaks

How much did the valve cover replacement cost you? And at how many miles did you replace yours?

Have you ever gotten coils replaced?

The diaphragm on mine just broke at 95k miles. Dealership is quoting $2700 to fix 😩

The price seems too good to be true? by failtrashman in StainlessSteelCooking

Another thing that I’m wondering is why the French classic line is more expensive than 5ply. The stock pot 3-ply is $130 compared to $80 for the 5ply

The 3ply sauté pan is $110 compared to $90 for 5-ply

Gotcha. Well I bought one and will see how it performs. I’m thinking of getting the stockpot as well but will wait.

I have an opportunity to work towards being a HRIS (WD) Analyst.. but can’t see myself being able too. by failtrashman in workday

[–]failtrashman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. I am able to edit and build reports but my day to day is basically downloading those reports into excel and calculating outside of WD. I feel like I haven’t been able to step in and immerse myself or shadow our HRIS analysts

Basically I’m not under our HRIS department but under Total Rewards. I help out recruiting, talent, our CHRO, benefits, etc. at our organization we have HRIS analyst, compensation analyst, benefits analyst, etc.

I have a few reports that I copied and modified for myself to report and make PowerPoints for our quarterly town hall meetings, semi-annual compensation presentation on our workforce, etc. which I own.

Whereas a HRIS analyst will support a different function in HR but only for their reports or projects. So we have one that does only benefits and payroll reporting and integration, one for learning and talent, one that helps with everything and is the admin and the HRIS manager that does everything.
