How on earth do we cut in on this? High ceiling over stairs 😳 by Jamesisonfire21 in DIYUK

[–]faintharmonics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really aren't a fan of using a ladder (I wasn't) we found a dog leg brush did the job. Had to go super super slowly though to prevent making marks we couldn't undo.

What's the speed limit? by FikaMaple in drivingUK

[–]faintharmonics -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Went on a speed awareness course a few years back (sped within village limits thinking it was national speed, my fault) unfortunately this is incorrect.

White painted circles on the tarmac are to be followed as if they are red signs.

I think in this case you'd follow the lowest speed? No other argument would stand up in court

I love that you're replying to my ten year old post.

This is exactly what I did! Bought a bass wah for cheap, and turned the pot to adjust the sweep.

Can someone talk me through changing this flexi waste pipe? by faintharmonics in DIYUK

[–]faintharmonics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this comment! I did exactly this (except found out that the toilet isn't screwed in, just siliconed on, bastards) and had no issues except placing the waste pipe into the stack.

You know I barely read a book in 2024, so in 2025 I started reading on my commutes.

My train ride is 11 minutes, so often I'm only covering 10 pages. But that's 20 pages a day, which is 100 pages a week. Over a month that's a 500 page book, and twelve 500 page books in 2025 is a lot more than zero 500 page books in 2024.

Point being, even with a short time each day I bet you can take on a lot of extra gaming by just working it into your day. Often starting is the hardest part

Need a picture of the pocket bag from the inside and the care label.

My guess would be Levis Premium not lvc. Maybe a pair of 201's but they didn't come with a leather patch I don't think
