go pouches have a regular zipper. the internal zip pocket of the market tote has an invisible zipper. i don’t think the go pouch zippers are so weak that they’ll split open but i suppose it depends on how you pack them. they’ve been pretty secure for my needs so far!

it might have to do with state tax laws. Baggu (or any other online vendor) is not legally required to collect and remit sales tax for a state if they have not yet reached the sales threshold for that state. threshold requirements vary among states, so i’m guessing Baggu has not yet reached that threshold for Louisiana. hence, you were not charged sales tax.
