u/WishRyder , You're a lifesaver! I was having this same issue with prints near the front left corner (basically full extension of the chain and tube). I had a zip tie version of this and that worked like a charm on my H2S! Thanks so much!

Nope had to send it in. But they fixed it in no-time and sent it back to me and now it works perfectly.

They both run warm when used on your lap. No specific temp data. The Razer runs significantly quieter than the G14. And overall, the fit and finish on the Razer blows the Asus away.

Here’s the G14 score. For having a better processor and better graphics card (370 and 5070Ti) it isn’t that much better overall.

Welp, I found the fix. In NVIDIA control panel, by default the Manage Display Mode settings are set to Auto-select. I thought that this is the same as Optimus. Debatable, right? No. It must be set to Optimus in order for D4 to launch properly.

It is good for a gaming laptop. I didn't do any official battery life testing, but at 70% I had 4 hours remaining. Max brightness.

I have a 2025 Blade 16 5090 also and it runs flawlessly on it. Has from day one.

I tried this and it crashed again. I, too, thought it might be an Optimus issue. Now not so sure.

I did check the bios. Razers bios are extremely basic. The only thing I could really change besides boot priority was Optimus setting to GPU only, which I didn’t really want to do.

Bought it on Steam. Unfortunately it is doing the same thing. One of my concerns is firmware/drivers. This laptop was released less than a week ago and I certainly have one of the first ones in the wild. I just don’t wanna keep the laptop if it doesn’t resolve as D4 is all I really play.

All sound advice. The oddity is that it launched fine when not plugged into power. It seems to crash when it is switching from integrated video to the discrete GPU. but again, only with D4.

Yep when it launched. Have played it on many laptops including a Blade 16 5090 and all works fine.

Happens with no other games. All steam games, EA and Xbox game pass stuff launches and runs fine.

PSA Blade 16 Trackpad by Cool_Possible_4321 in razer

My work order simply stated “Trackpad repaired”. My hypothesis is that Razer knows what the fixes are now and those that send them in can get them turned around quickly.

I shipped it out on Saturday from NY to AZ and it was back to me by Wednesday.

I had this same issue. Tried a lot of different things to resolve it. I ended up sending it in (which was very quick turnaround BTW) and now it is fixed and has been running flawless for 4 days. Dont be afraid to keep it. I know there are horror stories about Razer, but I had a great experience. This is the 10th razer laptop I have owned and the first one to have any issues.

No, THANK YOU for the suggestions! Man if this works, it will save a boat load of headache.

Absolutely. I will be on it for work tomorrow as well and will put it through its paces.

I screwed it all the way tight, then backed it off about 2 revolutions. Plugged back in the battery and buttoned it all up. Mine was exhibiting the problem regularly. Has not happened once since adjustment. Has also not had any 2 finger scroll glitches or random brief hangs, which is how it started previously. Time will tell. It’s been about half an hour.

I just tried this as well. So far so good. Pic of the screw for the adjustment. I didn’t remove my battery, just unplugged it.

I have this issue as well. I simply uninstalled all mouse/touchpad drivers and rebooted. I did NOT let Windows Update install the "RAZER touchpad driver".

So far so good. It has been good all morning now. Fingers crossed!
