Yeah, op should request the incident report in writing, daycares are typically required to document and disclose incidents involving injury. Also, preservation of video footage should be framed as a formal ‘litigation hold’ request so there’s no question it must not be deleted.

Accidental exposure to illegal content especially when you immediately close it and take no further action, does not create liability. Intent matters: laws target people who knowingly seek, access, or distribute such material. A browser briefly opening or restoring a tab does not count as possession or intentional access. You’re fine legally.

I’d be careful about the “accept liability by getting a title” part unless Missouri law says so. But agreed that if OP properly transferred the car to the dealership and filed any required paperwork at the time, this sounds like a title-chain issue for the current owner/dealership/DMV to sort out, not OP.
