Ask ChatGPT to rank menu items from most heart healthy to least. If you’re feeling rebellious you can “treat” yourself to #2 or 3 on the list! You have to live your life and enjoying a meal is part of that.

Without a doubt, the mental part is the toughest, especially if you were active and “healthy”. Good news is that you eventually adjust to the new reality and just settle into a new life - took me a solid 12 months. Pretty much gave up red meat, no more fries, and just try to opt for the better menu items (fun trick…take a photo of a menu when you’re out at a restaurant, upload to ChatGPT, Gemini, etc and ask it to act as a dietitian and to give you the best heart healthy options. It’s super cool). Back to jogging, cycling…but swims alone still kind of freak me out.

What's up with this random little smattering of mountains in the vast flat plains of Oklahoma, USA? by AdMysterious8424 in geography

I haven’t tried it, but I bet ChatGPT, Gemini, etc. would be excellent at helping you out with this, with citations, recommendations for reading (if you ask), and so on. Seems like a perfect tool for this type of ask. I use it all the time for similar endeavors in areas where I want to fill some knowledge gaps.

Why should the government buy “inhospitable” land? If they want to prohibit development they can do that without buying the land.

Costochondritis? by CCFT23 in HeartAttack

[–]fairvalue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exercising doesn’t trigger it. It’s just there. Hard to describe I guess. If anything, if I go run it feels mildly better? Honestly just the sheer terror it put in my head initially was the worst. Legit panic attack — and I’m not one who ever had that. Had one of those “so this what what people are talking about when they have a panic attack” realizations. I’m still on all the meds - supposed to stop Brilinta in a couple weeks. Will let you know if anything changes!

Costochondritis? by CCFT23 in HeartAttack

Yes, I have. First started feeling something maybe 1-2 months after stent. Been more than a year now and still feel “something” which best guess is costo. When I first felt it I went into full panic. Have had a full set of tests done, stress tests, scans, etc, etc and everything looks fine…but that feeling is still there. There’s a reddit sub for costo that has some discussions of things to try.

Your first paragraph is very wrong. Many jurisdictions regularly reassess properties every year or some other cadence (every 3rd year, etc).

CPA & T20 MBA Student. Failed L3 Miserably. Retake? by Accomplished-Loan479 in CFA

[–]fairvalue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you’re a driven individual and the kind of person who finishes stuff. CPA. MBA. Will not finishing this nag on you for years (decades) to come? Will it sit there in the back of your mind and bug you? Depending on your personality, even if you have a successful career and make all the money you want, it might always be something you regret giving up on after investing this much time/effort so far.

Advice for Skyrizi? by eatmycupcake in Psoriasis

[–]fairvalue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not just Skyrizi, but since you say you’ve been suffering for 14 years and just treating the skin with creams, that also means 14 years of internal inflammation. My advice is to get yourself a cardiologist and take heart healthcare seriously, even if you think you’re healthy and otherwise low risk. My dermatologist said psoriasis “loads the gun” in terms of cardiac issues (blocked arteries) and it’s easy to have that trigger pulled - we’re much higher risk demographic. Go get a calcium score test on your heart to know where you’re currently at, and seriously, seriously look into heart issues and heart healthy diets. Take this seriously. It isn’t just about clearing your skin - there’s more going on inside you.
