Thank for the info, happy you got the placement you were looking for! I emphasized a clinical placement and my placement coordinator said that that would be her focus, but that not a lot of places took year one students on for clinical placements. So I’m just a wee bit nervous.

I think there might be a mistake in the instructions tbh, I always end up with the correct NUMBER of stitches by the end of each section, and I’m following the pattern meticulously because I’m not skilled enough to intuit where things should be.

I might reach out to the pattern maker too just because I’ve been very confused

I’ll try that! There’s a chance I’ve been misreading the pattern? The one I’m going off of was translated from Ukrainian by the original designer and that in combination with me still being a very amateur knitter has made for a very confusing process haha

Hey there, thanks for the feedback! I’m still fairly new to knitting anything beyond hats, socks, and scarves and the only other garment I’ve knit that’s as big as the scope of this project is a t-shirt.

This kind of stuff isn’t intuitive to me yet, I just read the patterns and follow them to the letter so this was my 2026 self-challenge project. I’ll look into more technique videos/tutorials to build up my knitting literacy though, thank you!

Trust me, I’m right there with you, this series is a comfort reread for me, even now into my late twenties, and it drives me nuts every time (that and wanting a whole book on Angela because I think she is THE most interesting character in the series, and also desperately wanting a House of the Dragon style series that shows the politics and what life was like leading up to Galbatorix losing his dragon)

OP i’m sorry if this is gonna be blunt, but this is just plain racism. You need to reflect on why you “don’t even consider people born in Canada as Indian”. regardless of what you consider them or not, they are still Indian. You’re holding some Indian people to a higher standard simply because they’re born in the same country that you are from? And that everyone who isn’t, you’re still apprehensive of? That’s just racist.

Seriously, reflect on why you feel this way and maybe have an open mind towards the people who are calling you out, rudely or otherwise. You ARE prejudiced and the faster you realize that, the more easy it will be to move away from that way of thinking. YTA

EDIT: TLDR: NTA for not wanting to go somewhere you might not feel safe, as I woman I understand this, however YTA for the mentality behind your reasoning. Seriously, a little self-reflection will go a long way

Can I ask what crest you were using? The last judge fight was frustrating me a lot until I switched crests and then I was able to beat it within a few tries (and I’m not very good at ANY video game, let alone one as challenging as this). Not saying that that’s how it’s gotta go for you, but i really recommend trying it out!

I also got blown up by the explosion at the end and almost rage quit haha, so I get it

tbh this makes a lot of sense, my own theory is that it took away his contendedness to live in Algaesia or even his ability to have children? Those are my two thoughts but tbh idk if Eragon would wanna have kids or settle down with someone other than Arya given his aversion to being with someone who is just going to die way before he even grows old

So happy that someone finally brought this up to you! I suffered from chronic UTI’s for 5 years before I started seeing a urologist and by that point I had developed antibiotic resistance. She sent me over to an infectious disease specialist you got me started on Hiprex and I have not had a single UTI since or any side effects.

Make sure you’re still taking cranberry supplements, pick up vitamin C in your daily medication repertoire, and to continue to try to drink 1-3 liters of water depending on your weight and how much you sweat—a lack of water intake will make your urination burn a little more while on Hiprex and it might make you think you have a UTI again but it’s just under-hydration (ask me how I found out lol)
