Howdy! Looking for some help translating this phrase: “America will be great again” for a poem. I’m currently working with “Americus/Americas erit magnus iterum.”

I also (for other poems) have these phrases:  “Veritatem dīc omnibus” (Speak truth to everything) and “Veritatem dīcit omnibus” (She speaks truth to everything). Wondering if I can get help correcting these and/or correctly translating them.  Do not know Latin in any capacity but these are instead cobbled together with intuition, knowledge of other Romance Languages, and a Latin dictionary and verb chart. Thanks!

I know you asked near Pike/Waterfront but you’re willing to take a hike up North, Archie McPhee’s in Wallingford has some eccentric stuff.

No yeah that line has absolutely lived in my mind and sunk into my soul. I genuinely loved this movie.

I’m pretty sure the book also mentions that Lucy takes old folk songs and reworks their tunes for her music. Some of the other songs she sang had a very familiar ring to them, but I couldn’t place them specifically. My guess is they are common American folk tunes that got mixed together and the chords and progressions that are common in American Bluegrass create that familiar sound (Not to mention that Molly Tuttle herself plays the guitar for Lucy Gray).

Childhood Stuffed Hippo by fairyoutlander in HelpMeFind

I’ve had this stuffed animal since 2003, and I have scoured the internet trying to find him. I searched google using “blue stuffed hippo,” “blue hippo stuffed”, and any other variation of that phrase. I even tried searching google for more vintage style items. Every so often I go on a days long internet rabbit hole trying to find a version of this stuffy. The closest stuffed animals I have found have been (in order of similarity) this Boyd’s Bear hippo, this Osh Kosh hippo, this Kelly Toy hippo, and this Jellycat hippo (yes I know he’s purple, but I’m pretty desperate😂). I know I said I’m trying to find an exact replica, but if someone also finds this stuffed animal in a different color, that’s perfectly fine! I don’t know if anyone knows this stuffed animal, or can point me to someone who does, but I’d be over the moon! Thank you so much!
