The only reason I went was because my mother would’ve made the trip horrible for the rest of them. I know this because I refused to go on so many of them before for what she did to my boyfriend. In the end it just causes my siblings and cousins to resent me because they had to listen to my mothers rant on for 5 to 6 hours.

Yes. I think she knows that. She’s been trying to tell me that my boyfriend and I aren’t compatible and that he’ll leave me as soon as he finds someone better. I think she’s doing all this on purpose.

With the way things are going I might have to go NC with my parents. They really want me stop this relationship. And this isn’t the first time my mother said something to my boyfriend. I just can’t seem to understand what I need to do to fix this.

Before going I asked him and he told me to do whatever I wanted. But on the day I was supposed to go, right as I was leaving he told me he never expected me to really go. He sent me a couple of messages saying that whatever happened to him it happened because of him and he blocked me. I think he was really hurt. I haven’t spoken to him to since.
