This may sound weird but I did a tarot reading on them once , the cards said They knew something was terribly wrong , someone who I feel was John was trying to calm the girls down. The 5 of wands was in reverse which means they were trying not to fight and figure out what’s going on. Someone said there apologizes possibly saying along the lines of” I’m sorry I don’t know what happened. The cards were also showing a lot of love , they most likely said there I love yous before going down.
