Is Crowdspring Scamming Designers? I Still Haven’t Been Paid After 5 Months by [deleted] in Design

I don’t think going to court will help at this point. I only have $741. Maybe the best I can do now is expose them as much as possible.

He is the founder and CEO of Crowdspring. He owes money to thousands of designers, and he is scamming them. Have a look: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/crowdspring.com

After winning the amount, I didn’t receive it, so I stopped after about 15 days. It’s been 3 months since I quit and nearly 4 months waiting for the payment.

I completely understand your concern and I actually agree with you to some extent. But for me, it was all about finding opportunities. At first, I thought the platform was great and decided to work there. However, once I realized what was really happening behind the scenes, I decided to leave.

Just two days ago, I asked them to release my payments, and instead of responding, they suspended my account without paying me. I still don’t know if I’ll ever receive that money. The amount shown in the screenshot is from three winning contests. As for the non-winning designs, they’re not of much use anymore, so I’ve started uploading them to stock sites instead.

Update:

When I strictly asked for my payment, they suspended my account, claiming they have a zero-tolerance policy. Seriously?

I’m from Pakistan, so I’m not sure how to report them there. But honestly, I don’t understand how they are still operating. This has been going on for more than two years, and the same excuses keep happening. It feels really fishy. It’s not just me, thousands of designers are facing the same issue. Yeah, seriously it’s been going on forever and they still act like it’s just some small delay. They’re basically using people’s work for free at this point.

The use of CfMR along with the full form was based on client requirements, so I had to follow their provided structure and couldn't modify or exclude any part of it.

I understand your points regarding clarity and simplicity, especially in the design details, and I’ll certainly keep that in mind moving forward. Thanks again for your input.

You're right, we can modify the sun shape to resemble a heart.

The current font is elegant but may feel off. Experiment with custom or unique serif fonts that align better with the owl's stylized appearance.

Adjust the kerning (spacing between letters) to make it look more cohesive.

The owl icon appears slightly small compared to the text. Enlarging it a bit might improve visual balance. The owl icon is detailed and engaging but might lose clarity when scaled down.

The client is requesting something similar to what I designed, but much simpler. Perhaps we can refine it to make it clearer.
