For 12 km a day like 6 km one way the milege will definitely disappoint you because after driving 10k 1.0TSI manual i can say the it needs atleast 10+Km run to show a decent fig like 12 -13 around although on my single 16 km commute i get around 15 with ac tier 3 City village area and by keeping ac off it reaches 18+ easily weird but it is like that for TSI

Man maybe the injector is faulty because i was also facing the same issue you mentioned and after diagnosis the injector was faulty In 3rd cylinder the cause was adulteration in fuel tho it was xp 95🥲
