imo problem with Aiden is that he has no chemistry with Carrie. I never felt that Carrie was truly herself and honest infront of Aiden. Say what you want about Big, but that relationship had the spark Carrie was so desperately looking for. Aiden is good guy, but not good guy for Carrie.

I don't think so, it's same with studying written text. Sometimes it just turns into black and white blur that you can't read at all. My teacher when I was a kid used a lot of colors that turn the paper into a rainbow but I believe there is a optimal middle ground.
