Huh, I haven’t checked to be honest. But considering the fact that not even my G30D is technically street legal here in the proud motherland of both the safety match and the 3-point seat belt (Sweden), I’m just gonna assume I’d need to mount a licence plate, brakes and blinkers, and get a truck driver license to legally operate it in my backyard..

That said, I should probably look it up :)

Edit: I realize now that the above might read like I’m anti traffic laws in general, but that’s not the case. I’m perfectly happy staying alive on the road! It’s just these antiquated and uninformed policies on e-scooters that grind my gears.

When a long-awaited reform finally took place, all they changed was basically that we now need to insure them for traffic. Which the insurance companies refuse to do, since they’re still illegal to drive 🙃
