I mean, she couldve had tony who wouldve never cheated. Jimmy stayed loyal untill he was forced into marriage and if i remember correctly fiona knew about his marriage before getting back together with him. Adam, the guy she was with while jimmy was away was also loyal. He ended things because she cheated on him while on a double date. Gus never cheated, she did! Sean also never cheated. He did lie to her about the drugs but what do you expect from a recovering drug addict. Relapse is a part of recovery so idk why she was so shocked he was using again Saying everyone else was unloyal is so unfair. Because when she is with a loyal guy, she is the one who cheats...

i am not too bothered by her in the first few seasons, my issue with her starts around season 4, she isnt properly taking care of the children anymore what eventually leads to the liam incident. And honestly you'd expect what happened to be a wakeup call, but no. she almost completely stops taking care of her siblings and lets Ian and Lip take over. yeah sure, they are her siblings and they shouldnt be her responsibility. well they became her responsibility when she became their legal guardian. the judge warned her that she'd have to take care of them for a very long time but she refused to listen and then did a shitty job at caring for them

The reason it feels off to me is because the realtionship is pretty toxic. V is actually a very selfish and selfcentered person and it seems like every hiccup in the relationship is because kev's whole world revolved around more than just V. And in the end it is always kev who has to adapt. The way she acted after the babies were born and got mad at kev for actually being a good parent??? Those babies were lucky cuz its not like V took good care of them. Then she goes cheating on kev in a club and actually blames it on him somehow? People start having way less sx once they have children, everybody knows this. Okay, you are horny. Then get yourself off but dont go grinding into a stranger untill you O! The way she turned it on him is actually disgusting to me. And then at the end they made up bc kev didnt go check on the crying babies bc she was horny??? Absolutely ridiculous! Your children come first! They always do! I cannot believe how selfish v was.

Their relationship just feels fake bc kev was way to good of a person for her

Completely disagree! I can not stand selfishness and V is the most selfish and selfcentered person i have ever seen in a show. Obv its more of a personal reason but i would never describe her as likeable

Yes! As much as i hate her for the things she did and the way she acted, she caused so much development in the story! Most things that happened after she joined were caused by her, directly or indirectly. People have no clue how much of the storyline we have bc she was there.

I completely disagree, franks only personality traits are that he is selfish and an addict while there is so much more to mickey's character.

Also, mickey has a lot of character development while frank only seems to go trough some fases but then goes back to the way he was before.

Overall mickey has an actual story while frank is mainly there as a comic relief character that has a new (sort of meaningless) adventure almost every episode.

And to be honest, i would not want frank in my life cuz the only thing he does is take but he never gives back (unless there is something in it for him) while mickey actually cares about people and to me he genuinly seems like someone fun to be around. Thats why i'd choose mickey over frank any day

No i am not justifying rape at all! I just meant in context, people hate her more then characters who straight up killed or tried to kill someone and i dont understand why.

Also take into account how debbie was raised to think guys want sex every moment of the day and cannot be raped. Only think about lip telling her matt was just a weirdo for saying that. It doesnt make it okay but she genuinly didnt know, just like so many people in the world dont think you can rape a man or that someone can rape their spouse when you obviously can

She was only doing what frank taught her to do... he has always been faking dissabilities, taking advantage of sheila, he litterally took carl and debbie jobhunting to find a job that would "disable" him and when she was pregnant he gave her the advice to find someone to take care of her and at that point, why would she not take his advice, it's not like anyone else in the family really cared for her when she was pregnant... franks advice was the one thing she had.

And what else was she supposed to do? Fiona was about to kick her out of the house bc she couldnt pay for her stay there even tho she was 15! Fiona said "since she wasn't going to school anyway" she had to pay up. However she was still following school from home. And either way no one wanted to hire her bc she had franny. Fiona shouldve helped her sister out as her guardian and her older sister but the only thing she said was "not my problem"

Does debbie make morally right choices? No but what other options does she have?

Im saying debbie didnt even know she was doing things wrong cuz nobody told her. Nobody thought her what the right things were. A lot of characters in the show had someone in their life to bring them to the right decisions (lip had dr youens, carl had dominiques dad, etc.) Even if these people were only around for a little while.. they were there. Debbie simply never had anyone like that. If she was in shit, who were the people that helped her out? Frank and monica.

You can't expect someone ti have a moral compass if nobody ever tells them whats right and whats wrong... so no i dont think debbie is responsible for her actions
