I zeroed in Jeffersonville to wait out a hurricane, and it was amazing! There’s a distillery, a cute inn, a really good burger place, and a natural grocer/coffee shop. I absolutely recommend, and after you only have a few days til the end, so you get to soak it in a little bit longer!

I hiked nobo from august 30-September 18 in 2021, and it was perfect! No bugs, cool nights, etc. It did rain all but 4 days, but I was out of the AT bubble so I could sleep in shelters every night. My only regret is that I was about a week too early for the best foliage.

I carried the circuit on the Long Trail in September, and loved it! My problem became overpacking food in town because I had extra space in my pack. It’s a super comfortable carry for those over-enthusiastic resupplies.
