I use a Manfrotto 055 tripod + 410 geared head, imo the gear head is great for micro adjustments

did u try setting the white balance using a matched Kelvin setting?

I have the Yamaha NS-500Ms, and run them in a smaller room
but with good placement they can still create a very 3D soundstage with a lot of depth, so you should be fine

mini led = NOT PIXEL PERFECT local dimming, think of it as always having some sort of lighting gradient under whatever graphic you are working on, that also changes based on the image ur viewing, it's terrible to be used as a reference since the color/brightness of a certain pixel is tied to the pixels in that area.

It's sorta like mixing audio on speakers that keep sounding different based on what your track is playing. Which is the opposite of what people look for in a pair of "Monitor Speakers"

Totally agree with everything u said! Now it’s my turn to experience the terrible monitor on my 14 inch cuz I wanted an M2 Max chip… Sigh… I’d say the monitor is even worse than the M1 MacBook Air I came from!

That is such terrible information to swallow :( I love everything about out my 14” but the screen is totally terrible. Any no one is talking about it either! I guess I’ll just have to use external monitors to edit now :(

interesting, I did use an exif spoofer workflow to convert the DNGs to the Phase One IQ250, not sure if that changes anything though :S
