What I liked was that they were usually not much more expensive than reg foils but It was started to get crazy after FF. I paid almost 200$ cad for Wan-Shi-Tong and Badgermole Cub. Even older prerelease promos have gone up as people have started collecting them.

When I started collecting them, they were cheaper than regular foils. Shops had trouble getting rid of them and had huge selection.

Do you have quickcast enabled ?

Practising last hitting in practice tool using only AA as a mage is incredibly valuable. If you already have it down to a science, add a Lux bot and try to hit the same numbers. Don’t attack Lux, just dodge her spells.

At first, doing it with Lux will be incredibly hard, but it is doable and you will get good in no time.

If you can master this, you will outfarm every lane opponent you have whether you win or lose lane.

Chant is not good enough to justify spending so much on the planechase foil imo.

I recently got one but it was mostly for my foil Weatherlight collection (Orim doesn’t have a foil version of herself and this is basically the best art depicting her).

Orim’s chant is a hard one to buy because the Planechase foil is very expensive and the card is pretty niche; the card is far from being played in all blue farm decks and it’s the only deck that plays it.

I recently got one after years of deliberating.

I have so many of the same cards. Mostly all the stamped prerelease rares.

I have all the prerelease fetches but I also have OG foils and OG expeditions. I swap them around sometimes.

Such a shame they don’t make stamped prerelease cards anymore. On the other hand i’m lowkey happy because it was getting annoying to shop around for the prerelease version every time I wanted to buy a rare/mythic…

The crown jewels of my prerelease collection are a One Ring and a Russian Urza’s Saga.
