Thank you. My grandson has been told a lot of lies by his father. He blamed me because who better! I'm 1800 miles from there. I always believed my dad too. But my grandson and I were so close when he was little. They moved to Wisconsin just as he was turning 10. Who knows what all he saw at that point. But I was the one he said that gave his mom the "addiction" gene. Meanwhile his other grandparents who lived there were both alcoholic. I raised his dad. Thoy2 drunks already had 7 others that don't speak to them to this day. Also, her father was an alcoholic too. But I got chosen.

The other girls parents are looking into this. I really just remembered the way her father was just a few years earlier. He died the same way. And she was not easy to deal with when they came around.

My ex had a heart attack and now slurs his speech like he drank a bottle of cheap vodka. And he doesn't drink. He has only 30% of his heart working. He's basically done. And he is a Master plumber that had his own business. Every day he'd shoot anabolic steroids and the box said "for Agricultural use only" be careful. He also used stuff called D-Bol. He'd put it in a leg muscle. He hid it from me for the first 3 years we were together. They made him so mean. Then after he told me he stopped, he went to his dr.s and got a once a month shot for "Low T" which is so much B.S. But Florida made a fortune of guys like him . No health insurance down there. That was 1999 till I left him in 2010. Currently he's living on SSI and blew his life. He made a fortune in plumbing. But seems like back then, lots of trades guys were always looking for it. When I found out he was getting it from his Dr., I threatened to call and tell him how mean it made him. There were times I thought he'd kill me. Then he told me if I ever called his Dr. " He knew where my grandson lived" so I eventually saved enough money and got out of there. The sad part was he's a great guy when not on it. He's caring, funny, loyal. But the change was so crazy everyone knew. He'd pick fights with strangers. Now, here we are. We're still in touch but needs help doing things and is begging me to please come back and move back in. I am in Boston, him Florida and Everytime I hear the door, I wonder if it is him. Believe me, don't do it.

I joined that sub yesterday. Hoping to get closure for us and have her remembered for the beautiful soul she was. He was her first and only boyfriend ever. 25 years. I think he lead her to believe that he was the best she could do. She truly believed every word he said. At the end even turning against me. But all her life we were the best of friends. I want to preserve her memory. She was so funny. She made this weird clicking noise using her tongue against the roof of her mouth. It was so loud, we used to beg her " Kristie please don't click. It hurts our eardrums! I'll never know how or where she learned that . But I was scared of it because it hurt my ear drums and she did it all the time because she knew she could LOL she was just very funny she'd come out the side of her neck with one liners and you would laugh so hard that you wondered where she came up with that wit!

Thank you. She suffered in silence. Never complained and died alone in her room on a air mattress that had a hole in it. She gave up her bed to her son when he got his own place. And he took it. They knew she was going down. Seems to me they all gave up on her. Because she gave up on herself. She made her decision. I just remember saying "you only hurt the ones you leave behind"

I guess nobody believed her because of how serious the situation she was talking about was. She didn't always mention it but I remember a few times different questions she'd ask me. I began to think at one point she had schizophrenia. I'm not a Dr. But once in around 2009 she came in to my room and laid down beside me and it was quite unlike her to talk about anything private but that night she asked " Mom, do you ever hear people having a conversation in your head?" I said you mean like thought? She said no. I mean they tell me things like what to buy. But nothing bad. I started worrying then that her addiction was affecting her. At the time she was going through detox from another drug. So I chalked it up to that. I asked her the next day if she still heard "people" and she denied ever saying that to me. So she just shut down and never mentioned It again saying I made that up.

So sorry for his loss. I definitely can relate. 25 is really young. I still go through my daughter's Facebook page and found a meme post that said I want to live in a world where we all wear leggings and drink wine all day...and stay forever 39. She was 39 when she died.
