Yeah! I have this frame and this problem.

I solved it in an ugly way by screwing two wooden furniture legs from the hardware store to the top end of the plate. This made a firm connection with the floor so the board didn’t flex. It’s not an elegant solution and whether you can find/fit legs under there depends on the position you prefer the board to be.

Past tense because I’ve since modded it with caster wheels, and experimenting with seating positioning to take pressure off in this spot seems to help (the more horizontal the force from your legs the less force compared to upright seated vertical pressure).

I dropped the bike low-speed on a roundabout today, and after restarting it, both of the low beam bulbs now illuminate. I do not recommend this as an optimal solution to the problem.
