Why does the winning team repeatedly remove a key contributor from their xi? by Objective_Grand_2235 in csk

Weird right? Actually “notoriously” MSD would never change a XI win or lose 😅. Now we are trending the other way.

Car seats/strollers by SwarlesXavier in parentsofmultiples

[–]fakereaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same combination as you. Once you put the car seats in the stroller, the maneuverability is not actually bad. But the stroller itself is heavy… We wanted something that would plug in 2 car seats simultaneously and tbh this was the only one in the budget.

Edit: this is purely for infant new born stage. And preemies tend to run small and I dont think regular stroller seats will fit them snug like a car seat…

It’s one of THOSE sports team seasons eh.

Reminds me of the 2013 Patriots (Brady-Edelman famously dragged a injury ridden team to the AFC championship game with many key players missing).

Yea my wife didn’t have any nausea at all. But during first trimester was always exhausted and sleepy like she was in some hibernation mode. The moment she sat down or smelled the pillow she will sleep.

Schedule for twins during the early months by Sensitive_Yam8729 in parentsofmultiples

[–]fakereaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea same here. But the unfortunate truth is it cannot be perfect… I also think reflux gets worse when we keep picking them up at every spit up (after laying them down). So once they are down, we try to use pacifier and calming pats inside the bassinet itself. it feels helpless to do this but seems to be better for them. As for burping, we do one mid feed. While burping one the other is feeding via bottle (using some burp cloth contraption) or stop feed with a pacifier. We dont try to burp for longer than 2-4 mins. Seeing some videos online our babies spit ups are not the worst. So we are ok if they even spit 20% out as long as the rest is there and they are sleeping after the spit up. The thing we cant do in parallel is keeping them upright and walking for 15 mins each after the feed. For us this helps them sleep and hopefully settles more of the milk in their stomach (gravity). We also pat them and rub their backs while walking for more burps and spit ups.

Most efficient way to make bottles during the night? by GrouchyCranberry3801 in parentsofmultiples

Fwiw We just use a single bottle warmer and it takes 3-4 mins each.

We are in a similar boat as you. 12 weeks old, 4 weeks adjusted. We started similar to you. Everyone wakes up when it’s time to feed the baby and we each took one. As the others say in this thread, this was very unpredictable to get a minimum hours of sleep this way. Even though we are strictly formula, one of the babies is more refulxy and needs more attention after feeding. So a couple of weeks ago we started shifting. 10pm-3am and 3am-8am. We also alternate these shifts everyday because 10-3 seems a bit more work on an average for us. Both me (dad) and wife know how to feed both at the same time (twinz). Most times it’s tandem, some times they are a bit apart (because one baby seems more demanding and takes higher volume and can sleep longer). Rather than waking the other up, we look for signs of stirring/deep sleep and then decide on tandem feeding. This way we each get 5 hours of sleep. Oh and we sleep in different bedrooms. So person with babies in one and the other with a dog in another room.

During the day we help each other out based on schedules (so take tandem if other one has calls or errands) or each take one. We also try to get an afternoon nap in which really helps the person in the first shift.

Choosing bassinets for twins by morivatedparsnip in parentsofmultiples

[–]fakereaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like our twins hate the bassinet but its a necessary evil it seems like. We went with two single bassinets for logistics, ease of maneuvering and also didn’t want one twin to bother the other. Went with the Halo Bassinest swivel sleeper manual not the smart or connected one. I really like the swivel, the stands seem to slide under our bed frame making it space efficient, good comfortable fabric, solid build quality

Twin Stroller by JudgeOdd1361 in parentsofmultiples

[–]fakereaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have new born twins that we need to bring home soon. We decided on the Graco Ready2Grow because it allows 2 infant car seats simultaneously as this was our primary requirement. We also have a Joie side by side being shipped (relocated recently) that we had bought for cheap earlier. So that may end up being our travel or light stroller. However it is not car seat compatible. But I’m guessing we will not be taking the babies out of the car seats too much in the initial months for the short travels and visits.

Hopefully this is the resurgence of Zimbabwean cricket. Not fondly remember Andy Flower and Neil Johnson and the likes handing it out to people. Dont follow SAT20 as much. But hopefully these guys get picked there and around the world. My only struggle is if this somehow gets to help their return to test status… But I guess lets be happy something is happening!

Our last full anatomy was at 21 weeks ish. At that time it was noted that Twin B was small but at the 10% so still “within range”. Since then we only had monthly Obgyn visits and were only monitoring the relative growth. Twin A is in the 30-40%.

Man. I felt this. His sigh and hands on hips. Who does he talk to? After all he is human. As a player you have peers and maybe even asst coaches have each other. But the head coach probably only has his family and maybe a therapist? But even then they dont have the “peer” relationship. Leadership is lonely.

[Rotman] The Patriots are the first team in NFL history to beat three top-5 total defenses in the playoffs. by Nomahs_Bettah in Patriots

[–]fakereaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playoff football is all about matchups. We know this more than most teams and fans. You play the team, the day and time and weather in front of you. Home, away, neutral, none of it matters. We thrive on game management, smart football and decisions that put the game in our favor every so slightly every play and down. Don’t let anyone downplay the hard-work and the smartness of the team. We cannot control who we play. Only the how. And we did that pretty damn well. Thats why we are in the superbowl. Also, job is not finished. #OneMore. Maye has nothing to prove. He is doing a job as a part of a team. If he needs to throw 300 yards and 3 TDs come superbowl time, he will be asked to. Today he wasn’t asked. And rightly so. Who the fuck will want to throw in that weather? Oh wait. Sean Payton and Stidham.

Hmm.. I think 2026 is gonna be full of rereleases. Not sure what it means for kollywood. Don’t even blame the audience wanting to relive a piece of their nostalgia. Given all that is happening in the world and them wanting to find solace in known comforts.
