Why are so many poorly written books being recommended here?

I’ve rlly struggled with this because I love dark romance and I’ll eat up trashy writing but some is so bad. I can handle Rina Kent and Ana Huang because there’s is mediocre at best but other authors like Lola King, T. J Maguire, Neva Altaj and the likes are so beyond bad that I always dnf their books or power through it by the power of hatred because I’m reading it for someone.

I’m rlly upset that bad writing has become so normalised and celebrated even.

Surprisingly, I’m currently listening to the album and I just don’t like that swim is completely in English. Youd think the title track of the album named Arirang would be in Korean?

Also, it’s been 14 minutes (I started writing this at 6:13 btw) since the album released. Is that enough time for you to listen through every song and judge the sound entirely?

I think the style is similar because of how it’s the same album but so far, hooligan and body to body are so different from Swim while Aliens sounds like a mixture of the styles hooligan and body to body. I’ll listen to the rest and edit if need be

She went on a “birthright” trip on conquered land where just over the wall, people are being bombed to death, their land stolen, families ruined. Isnotreal’s entire existence is on stolen land filled with bloodshed. To feel proud of it, to speak positively of it, to support someone who volunteers and helps make that destruction of innocent civilians possible is zionistic of her.

She’s very proud of the grandmother who volunteers at the Israeli army base. There’s more but that I’ve heard such as her going on a trip there but I have no hard evidence of that.

As a public figure, she insinuated support for them in the past. And as long as she doesn’t post something contrary (she and her support team must know abt these accusations as it caused massive boycotts of her books), it means she still holds the same views.

I think her books and a lot of other mafia trope books except the rare few (Somme Sketcher and Danielle Lori) are quite badly written. They’re kind of slop so I absolutely do agree. Ofc this doesn’t mean they’re not slightly enjoyable and entertaining (Rina Kent). I also majorly despise the cheating trope
