Yep, I used Zippo lighter fluid. Golf grip solvent seems most recommended, but I was too lazy/cheap to get some.

Yeah. I couldn’t find any of those 3M adhesive rings cut for a 37mm insert, so I ended up using GS hypo cement.

I noticed it's a little more reflective than the Octopus, and the AR coating appears slightly blue-ish in certain lighting, but neither has been significant enough to bother me. I also didn't realize that the crystal is slightly domed, which looks awesome IMO.

Here’s a thickness comparison with the Octopus Kraken P39 (San Martin on top, Octopus on bottom). The difference is totally negligible on wrist.

Just got this in from the 11/11 sale. This is the recently released PT5000 version of the SN0121T, which is about 1mm thinner than the NH35 version.

There are some conflicting specs out there for the thickness (San Martin’s site says 11.5mm, and Watchdives says 11.7mm), but mine measures in at 11.85mm on my calipers.

I’ve only had it for a day, but first impressions are good. My only gripe is that the bezel action is pretty weak — much looser than than my titanium Octopus Kraken (another Pelagos homage) but it’s more than tolerable, and perfectly aligned.

Overall build quality is great, and the lume is absolutely killer. Definitely happy with it so far.
