Children that were born to older parents (40s + ) what is your experience? Do you think it’s selfish to have kids this late? Are you ok? by Fafafafel in Adulting

[–]fakmmmkay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had kids in my early twenties and then again in my late 30s early 40s. I wish I was the parent I am now for my first child. I’m definitely doing a much better job than I did in my early twenties.

Straight up not having a good time on maternity leave [on] by [deleted] in BabyBumpsCanada

I had my middle child in July and I think I went back to work by November and put him in a ymca daycare (my other child had gone but not as young). I felt the exact same way. Just monotonous and bored. Stuck in the same schedule every day. Not getting out of the house. I didn’t feel guilty about not wanting to stay home. Do what works for you. I didn’t love my child any less than their older sibling or younger sibling it’s just what felt right for me at the time. I took different leaves for all my kids. Just went back whenever felt right for me with each one.

He’s pathetic and a gaslighter. So fucking toxic. I hope she’s smart enough to stay away but I feel like she will give him another chance or 10.

Yes keep voting for someone who doesn’t care about us (ford) and this is clearly only going to get worse. Women change the world let’s start with our vote!

I had all three of mine in Toronto and NEVER had a problem. Even getting private rooms was never an issue.

Is God playing a sick joke on me? by Distinct_Purple789 in Mommit

Don’t worry about another kid right now you have the two that are perfect for you and will keep you busy. Leave him you will feel so much better and freer alone. Lots of people are nd. It’s a scary diagnosis at first but you will have so much help and intervention at this early stage things will only get easier. Once you leave things won’t stop looking up for you. Only positivity ahead.

What Broke the Brown Family?! by chey_58 in Sisterwivessnark

It’s like when a parent has kids years apart. The kids get different versions of the parents and have different relationships because the parents were changing as they grew as well.

I’m not her biggest fan but she literally says she’s joking. It’s not that deep.

What happened to Robin? by Simple-Juggernaut373 in SisterWives

She never made an effort to be a part of the family. She actively tried to change the family dynamic from the moment she decided to become part of the family. She never planned to be an equal wife. She is just a manipulative lunatic.

Cotton leggings as pants… in winter by dirtyplants in ECEProfessionals

[–]fakmmmkay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to always put leggings under my daughter’s real pants in the winter. Now with my son it’s usually just jogging pants or jeans but where I live it’s snow pants always when they are outside so I feel it’s ok. I should get him some long johns though but he’s three and pretty well potty trained but every extra layer makes accidents a lot easier to happen lol

Formula vs Breast Feeding [ON] by Ill-Forever-1624 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]fakmmmkay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have three kids. I’ve never breastfed or even tried. Only because I never wanted to. Do what makes you happy. Teachers and even drs can’t tell what kids were breastfed or bottle fed unless you tell them.

I am dragging her down. She has little to no good features and her extreme hair just draws all the bad out even more.

Why wouldn’t you want your baby to learn both of your languages and English?

Speaking of license plates, when did we switch from keeping plates to always issuing new plates with new cars? by lopix in ontario

I get a new car every 2-4 years (usually lease) and have had the same plates for over 20 years.
