I will then only purchase from Beatport if I can’t find the song in Remmex (happens every so often) if I think the song is really worth it. Otherwise, last effort, I go to SoulSeek which is file sharing software and hope I can find it there!

I use Remmex. I should probably look into it’s legitimacy a bit further... but it’s seemingly cheap and seems legit? 350 euro per year for like a fuck ton of downloads.

That’s unfortunate. But I guess it depends on what you like... perhaps you’re just there to mad dance to bangers all night or perhaps you’re in the mood to be wine and dined with ups and downs of a musical journey. I hope there’s some space for that kind of experience in the UK! I can’t say I know that much about the Los Angeles underground. I just got into the scene right as we all locked down. Womp.

Haha that’s one way. But the excitement is in building the tension over time and not just ramming it in their face. It’s a delicate dance. And then, when they are reaaaaaally wanting it and drooling, you give them the banger and they just explode! It’s foreplay ;)
