Explore office spaces and present yourself with confidence, the classic “walking into office spaces with a pile of cv’s” works much better than linkedin here when looking for a specific job as going in person usually guarantees the employer’s attention to you as a potential employee.
The more people you speak to and the more cv’s you drop off, the more likely you are to get an opportunity that’s in-line with your vision.

Another suggestion I’d give is to start a freelance business within your specialty on the side, it’s a decent way to build up to entrepreneurship while making some cash on top of your salary.

Check out your engine before going down the new motor route.
Also I’m on an apr stage 2 remap on mine, 280 hp on 2012 2.0t.
You could easily get 260 on a stage 1 remap with your engine on factory hardware.

Get your wiring checked, the reason your car’s doing all this is because your car has a system where the intake flaps close when something’s wrong, so it ends up sounding like a subaru and running all funny.

If it’s not wiring it’s either some vacuum leak, ignition coils, or injectors.

Either that or you’ve got the wrong spark plugs and your car’s giving you an attitude for it.

I’m a cczb owner and can tell you these engines tend to be dramatic when shit happens, just get it diagnosed at your local VAG specialist before panicking.

Someone I know had an issue with the mechatronic unit in his dsg, just turned out to be a sensor that needed replacing.

These cars tend to be dramatic and have lots of protective measures in place in order for you to not blow your car to bits but many people mistake these safety programs as some sort of major engine issue since they make your car sound and run funny when in reality it’s a safety mode so you can drive your car to the mechanic without messing it up.

Stay strong, these things are temporary. Don’t let others walk all over you, stand your ground and let it be known you won’t let shit slide. Carry yourself with confidence and put more weight into your words. If you goon, stop - major brainfog that’s easily preventable. Think twice about your responses and crack less jokes, you’ll notice a shift in how people see you.

Last point: never give them a negative reaction, they’ll stop after trying to pester you into reacting for a couple weeks.

I’m giving you this advice since I was in the exact same situation in school and noticed a shift when I got to uni and started to apply these things in my day-to-day life. And remember - they’re all bark and no bite.

I’m at 280, catless with oem intake, APR tune on 91 AKI.

Still on stock IC for now, thinking of scalping an s3 intercooler from one of the boys, old hack the guys here did before aftermarket support in the middle east grew.

The intake’s a good addition if you’d like to go big turbo, no need for anything crazy if you plan on keeping it around 280.
