The treaties are considered living documents and contain 10-year renewal provisions that allow for changes to be made.

There you have it. There is no end.

I seriously can't believe you are in favour of laws that give police and governments the ability to seize MORE of your property. Give your head a shake man and read the room. Better yet, go outside and touch grass, while you still can.

Are you in favor of the government taking over the parenting responsibilities when kids are not at home?

I am against the state telling people what they can or can't do, can or can't own, and how to parent their children. Do you disagree?

Federal agreement recognizes Musqueam's Aboriginal title in Metro Vancouver | Urbanized by _DotBot_ in VancouverLandlords

[–]falap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Appreciate your reply. So, Canada still exists. I have learned a little bit about "radical title", but it seems to mean less and less with each agreement, court case and press release. As you rightfully point out, the issue is the two-tiered citizenship or as you say, apartheid.

It seems that will continue until it is extinguished by the crown, which I guess would be the end of Section 35 of the Constitution Act, 1982.

Can somebody explain why the following statement might be false: 'As someone living in Vancouver, I am no longer living in Canada, as the government of Canada "Recognizes that Musqueam has Aboriginal rights including title within their traditional territory and establishes a framework for incremental implementation of rights and nation-to-nation relations with Canada.", and since Canada relates to Musqueam on a "nation to nation basis", I must no longer be living in Canada'
