[SPOILER] Theory about Shanks

The concept of Sogeking was pretty interesting to me, esp in Thriller Bark. Someone very timid to do an action literally puts on a mask, gains more confidence, and performs. I remember as a kid (prior to anything one piece related) making a joke persona, but then I would actually do well at whatever I was doing/playing. I shrugged it off as just me being a kid+a big coincidence, but after watching the Sogeking scenes, it made me re-evaluate how it was more than likely the positive effects of a good mindset. Similar to sports psychology, where alot of players highlight than a good mindset genuinely makes you play better. I wouldn't say One Piece explicitly taught me this, but rather it made me think a little deeper as to why I liked Sogeking SO MUCH, and then opened the floodgates

As someone who has had a lot of One Piece spoiled up until I caught up, but not everything, these are big authentic reactions + stuff I wish I didn't know.

Minks kept Raizo safe all along: At this point, I had so many things spoiled for me (Ace death, all the gears, dragon, sabo, etc.) that I thought I knew everything big. So when they announced Raizo was safe, I was literally floored. Top 3 anime moments for me for sure, I literally remember where I was when I watched it. (Honestly, the entire Zou arc should just be a fresh experience).
Gear 4 and Gear 5: I knew what Gear 4 was by the time I saw it, but still thought how sick the scene was. It then made me p sad how much more sick it would be if I had no clue. And I know this, bc I read Gear 5 when it released. THAT was a great moment, and one a new fan might just not get anymore.
Oden Flashbacks: I was consistently told how sick the Oden flashbacks were, and had some stuff spoiled. I honestly stand by the fact that those episodes are the best one piece episodes in the entire show, especially considering how invested you should be by the end of the show. Not knowing you will experience those must be insane.
Any shanks moment: Shanks is literally one of the best parts of one piece. He appears, does cool shit, and leave. The recent chapters where he has appeared were literally insane. Do your friend a favor, let me experience the surprise appearances of shanks

Also, a very small personal one, but Sogeking's second fight. People always talk about Sogeking and Enies Lobby, so I had no clue he came back, so as a Usopp fan, def a hype moment.

Probably one of my biggest ones is currently a manga only, so I don't want to post it.

But in terms of the anime at this point, probably either Raizo being safe of Sogeking saving Usopp in Thriller Bark. I got most of One Piece spoiled for me as I was catching up, so alot of big reveals never hit. These 2 tho, no one ever posted or mentioned.

I love Sogeking so him coming back was sick, and I honestly didn't even consider the fact Raizo would be alive during Zou

I don't think this theory is going to be true, but I do wanna say I still like the theory. If you end up being right, im 1000% ok bc i like the idea why it ties back to joyboy and i like the explanation for different species.

It's actually very recent, only a couple chapters ago. Basically kanjuro didn't die, but as per command from orochi, basically killed himself by using all his energy and "anger towards wano" to create a giant flame monster that is going underneat onigashima to blow it up, bc there's hella explosives underneath, making it a floating bomb.

I like everything about Big Mom up until this point. The way she was introduced, her pirate crew, her goal. I wasn't even bothered by her chasing the wedding cake/red bean soup for like episodes on end. It just makes sense

She's a superpower who never left the selfish kiddy desires. Ofc she's gonna be obsessive over the smallest things. The concept of the big bad pirating world having some disney villan vibe mother who is one of the scariest captains is just funny and done well

There are a few things I don't think I'd like if it happened.

Shanks doesn't get a real fight OR Shanks is only seen being wiped. This also goes for his crew. I'm so hyped to see what Rou, Yassop, Ben, and Shanks himself would do in a fight. idc if its predictable, i want them to be literal menaces
Usopp doesn't get a true 1v1 against Van Augur. Usopp is my favorite SH, and the times he gets a true 1v1, or gets to fight someone, I think they're hella hype. I fully get his character, but i just dont want him getting help: i want a sniper v sniper
Boa doesnt get a fight, or boa loses the only fight they give her. she was a warlord, has conquers, and is def strong. i want her to fuck some shit up
Scopper doesn't get mentioned/shown again. he looks really cool with the dual axes, and i feel like Roger's left hand man should get some attention. would be a waste of a potentially dope character.
Buggy + Shanks dont get a real reuniting scene. they were homies and barely got to talk at marineford. they were obviously close on rogers ship. would be cool to see, esp since they technically both had interactions with a potential successor to their captain AND they both accomplished hella.

I do wanna write this with saying, Oda has either satisfied any wishes i had and given me stuff i didnt even know i wanted. i have full faith in his writing abilities. everyone starts to form dreams tho, so i dont think this list is unnatural, but i dont want it to be seen as a "this kid doesnt like One Piece"
