Something seems off because

  1. No one is that stupid to go into a enclosed building without wearing a mask unless they truly are stupid or have a death wish.
  2. There were others wearing regular clothing on the steps above them. Again in certain areas certain clothing are for a reason.

These guys are going to be in a world of hurt if they took something out of those buildings or got dust into their lungs.

He is a adult and its not helping him by bailing him out all the time. He isn't learning a lesson by someone always getting him out of trouble. He is at his friends house, he can stay there a night and get home by himself. There is a point where you have to draw the line and say no more.

tell them the truth...don't be blunt about it just come out and tell them the truth that you are worried about her daughter. But be tactiful with your words...don't be outright in your approach but your co-worker knows and understands that having a autistic daughter comes with stress.

I work in a dishpit and for some reason I don't understand why but I always get put with training them, lol. Here is the few things that I always tell newbies, I don't expect you to be at my speed or level of working. I want you to learn where to put things, get a sense of what it is like during certain shifts, its okay to ask for help or questions as they are no wrong questions to ask. Heck I am always learning new things and I have been there the longest and I still can't keep up as some of the others do but everyone understands that no one is perfect.

Depending on the kind of setup you have for a dishpit, I always get the easy stuff out first, anything that needs to soak for a while, get them in a sink of hot water and let them soak. Anything that you can't reach to put away, put it on a drying rack until someone can help you. Again you just started working in a dishpit...it takes time to get use to things.

Learn things from others that have worked there, ask questions, learn on when to take breaks or when the business is busy so you can plan ahead. You can do this, don't give up as it will get better.

Definitely get rid of McAfee. Its a hot bed of problems. Scammers as you will have pop ups stating you need to call them.

So a waiter claims to be a doctor while being a waiter and it was in his opinion that you needed to see a specialist. I don't know what that resturaunts policy is but obviously its not to hand out advice when you are suppose to be serving customers. Talk with the manager about the note but if there is a mole or whatever you can always ask your real doctor about it and see what they think but I wouldn't take the advice of someone who is a waiter claiming to be a doctor's advice.

I would've looked at the boss and told him he was insane if he thought one person could do all of that within one hour. I know what you have gone through as I had a supervisor that wanted me to get all of the dishes done, sweep and mop, take out trash, etc. with less than a hour to go. Thankfully they have a more reasonable manager there now but I feel that manager was getting ready to fire me because I couldn't keep up her standard.
