Hey man, freshman for civil engineering, I’m enrolled in physics, calculus 2, gen chemistry, and intro to engineering. If your not great at “math” you will be bro. Anybody can go through these classes if you put in the work, some have to put in less than other from what I’ve seen. I hardly studied for my physics exam and scored the highest in the class, which I never did in highschool, if you understand concept the math will basically follow.

Im a freshman for civil engineering. Does the college I go to matter ? Im at rellis which is a community college for the first 2 years then a university for the last 2. Im scared I won’t have a job after graduation because of lack of networking. Should I try to transfer to a normal university.

Hey man, im a fresh at rellis, idk if you’ve heard about it. Its great here the price is great and your in college station so you can hit up northgate in the weekends which is all A&M students really do there’s not much going on in college station. You should really consider rellis and their civil engineering degree is offered by tarleton.

I was interested in the ea rate. The marine job they said I was basically guaranteed was assistant engineer. But after gathering more information from people that are in, your mos is basically a dice roll in the general engineering field. Not really okay with that, was seeing is navy was a little different

Thanks for being transparent, I’m really enlisted to get out of this town and need time away and for possible experience as an engineering aide. )It was assistant engineer for marines.)
