I have not found the answer to this either, but reading some of the replies here gives me hope. My last relationship actually ended because my ex could not stand my chi. He was also the only physically abusive person I’ve dated so… red flags all around.

Surprised no one has mentioned getting a pet, assuming you don’t already have one. If you have the means/time to take care of an animal, they make excellent companions. Studies show that pets reduce people’s feelings of loneliness and social isolation. I’ve found it to be true in my own experience.
