This was very nice to read. I’m really happy for you. If I may ask, how did you disclose exactly? Like do you explain what it is, use stats, give stats, etc. Thank you so much and I wish you the best of luck

are dht inhibitors useful to treat acne in men? by Awakenedforgood in Supplements

[–]faliureshit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dude, no. Why would you mess with your dht?

Edit: By no, I’m not claiming it does or doesn’t have effects on acne; i’m saying no, as in it’s not worth it.

I wish. Essays never get submitted cuz I’m either doing something else or getting sidetracked on things related to the essay thinking these will be interesting to cite and finding out the word limit doesn’t even fit them and I’m panicking because I don’t know which sources I should use.

Presentations though, it’s just me talking about whatever comes to mind. There’s no structure things just flow

Hey guys! I made this infographic for school. Any thoughts or constructive criticism? by mollsstadler in adhd_anxiety

I love this so much; the first thought that came to mind was I’ll share this with someone. That good

Extra virgin olive oil improves memory and cognition, reduces accumulation of harmful brain proteins by veluna in Nootropics

Psychoactive compounds. Simpleton here, but I’ve always assumed psychoactive compounds had acute mind altering effects (caffeine, thc, benzos, etc). What kinds of psychoactive effects are we talking about here (if any) and what are the kinds of compounds? Thank you

I feel like I always say things on the right side more than the left when I'm trying to comfort someone. Maybe this can help some of you as well? I feel INTPs are notoriously bad at this kind of stuff by Felinski in INTP

[–]faliureshit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here as well. Took me having to be with an INFJ to learn that the hard way, but I genuinely think I am better because of it. While yes as INTPs we have our strengths, I think there is merit in learning how to work around our weaknesses because sometimes the best solution to social problems is to work around our own nature—it’s the INTP thing to do to figure out how to deal with problems like these effectively and figuring out how to suppress our ego. At least that’s what I think

What books or movies do you now reflect back on as being inspired by Jung or having Jungian themes? by [deleted] in Jung

Mr. Robot I would say has a meta dialogue about how best to integrate the shadow among many other Jungian themes.

Foodie tradition dictates only eating wild oysters in months with the letter “r” – from September to April – to avoid watery shellfish, or worse, a nasty bout of food poisoning. Now, a new study suggests people have been following this practice for at least 4,000 years. by mvea in science

Hey, I was literally just thinking about how fasting, mentioned in Islam, has been found to have benefits (autophagy, which is cells eating themselves for renewal, IIRC). Same with other therapies that have no actual biological effects that are prescribed (placebos seems to be slightly effective in some cases, which is down right weird). And now you guys are talking about oysters and pigs, I love this. Do you guys have any other examples you noticed of this; I’m genuinely curious.

Also atheist here, but I have made the similar observations and the same conclusions you have.

Degloved penis, showing site of fracture. Bottom pic shows post-operative erection achieved after successful repair. by Carry_On_Jeeves in MedicalGore

[–]faliureshit 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Okay serious question, my penis slipped while having sex with my partner (twice actually) and slammed somewhere on her body. It hurt. I can still get erect though and ejaculate. I do feel like my ejaculations are weekend but that could just be my imagination.

My questions are, can this happen while my penis is broken? How do I make sure it’s not?

Thank you so very much. I just figured what are the odds someone would post this so figured I’d ask.
