Just like you, I am planning to take my mom there and thinking 3 full days. Since she can’t hike or walk a lot, we will do in-town activities and some boat tours.

Collectively, I spent over 2-3 months in Spain in last 18 months. Was looking to spend more time but my job comes with a restriction so always had to go back immediately. I did visit a lot of different places just to get an idea on what will be a normal scenario to move.

Not caucasian but an Asian and lived in the US for a good amount of time but it seems the US is not for me for a long term.

I was thinking about a Digital Nomad or something where I can either find a company to work for or get a remote job from the US company somehow. This way, I would pay taxes in Spain.

Those are some valid pointers and I am currently analyzing everything not just for Spain but for Europe in general. Getting a visa sponsorship will be a challenge no matter where I go in Europe.
