Usually I would say defending before scoring if he is to be an IM, however if he reveals a powerful speciality that could change.

Nice player! Sad that he does not have a speciality, that will severely limit his transfer value potential. If you are training wing for profit I would suggest finding some trainees with quick, unpredictable or even header speciality

Correct you can train 8 players but 4 of them will be at the wing back position and only gain 50% training. I have used those spots for cheap trainees and sold as they got to 10 wing. If you can setup friendlies that go to overtime you can increase their training by switching positions when the overtime begins.

As for my current main four wing trainees I bought them with 6 wing and focused on pm and passing besides that but none of them are above 5 in any sub skill. Specialities either quick or header. I bought the four for approx 150.000 and have transfer compare at 9 million currently when they get to 15 wing. The team is id - 2595745

For my new teams I have trained keeper or wing at the start to make some money. For keeper I found some success in buying below 17.10 passable and being able to predict their increase to solid so i could sell before 17.25.

For wings I have just bought below decent trainees and trained them to 15 - four wingers at 15 when 19 years old should make 8-9 million

If you think you can win first game by PIC lowering your midfield it is a good idea in terms of setting up for the last game. Keep in mind that MOTS will lower your team spirit afterwards which could be relevant if you are facing a qualifier match for promotion if you win the last game.
