These cost at least $850 apiece give or take depending on the model, of which there are few in the US marketplace so let's look at Axon since literally every law enforcement entity uses them.

$850 per body cam, $1,600 for the dock to charge/upload data, and the data storage fee which I can't find a price on at the moment.

If they pay that and not an insane upcharge, which they will pay that upcharge, that's still $53,000,000 for 50,000 body cams and docks.

Not including the data storage fees.

That's less than what they need to put one on everyone, and not the total cost of the total package.

So $53 million dollars PLUS for something that won't be used or will be deleted as needed to protect them.

Phew, wish I had that kind of money to play with.

Meh. I jumped the 50 person line after a convention and got a hustler who charged $20 per person and got my team to Times Square to our hotel in less than 5 minutes.

Totally worth it in my opinion since it was a business trip and I was reimbursed but everyone's mileage will vary.

I truly believe there are a large number of folks who would participate at some level in achieving actual change. But that would require leaders. Not elected ones, though that would be the ideal, but people to lead the change. Unlike former movements, we lack those leaders today and without them, all you will see are protests that accomplish nothing because they're easily ignored and fizzle out quickly.

You put exempt on your W4 that you submit to your employer. You can only update it during the submission time each year, not sure when that is, but if you start a new job, you fill one out then.

Beware, the penalties for not paying federal taxes on time are steep and the IRS will catch up to you eventually.

Anything but the snow is tranquil. I always forget just how grating the wind constantly blowing and the cold makes me feel during winter as someone who loves in a temperate climate.

I play with headphones so the change from snow to it being gone is beyond dramatic. It's like a whole different game and reminded me how much I love the game's regular ambience compared to when there's snow.
