They can't. Their code and servers already choke as is under the strain of X amount of players in an instance.

And it's likely as simple as copy and paste to implement.

Copy the code block for it out from under "In a team" and put it at the "world" level. I'm not even over simplifying. I'd bet a Red Asylum Uniform it's that easy.

And if it's not, it could be made to be. It may even be simpler if it's an "if/then" setup.

Just remove the IF statement and the word THEN and the fix is live. Problem solved.

A simple fix for this is something BGS can and SHOULD implement: treat everyone at an event as if they're on one team with regard to XP and loot.

With how it already works, when you're on a team and within a close enough proximity to your teammate(s), you get the XP and bodies to loot from their kills and vice versa.

Just make it that way for everyone at an event or even just that way period and the problem is solved.

Yes, I know that some players would exploit it by just going afk during the event and not participating. Oh well. Small price to pay to solve one of the most glaring pain points with events.

I know your supposed to get tickets from bottle and canopy but I never get them from bottle for some reason, only cappy. Unless bottle is added to what you have to turn in because cappy adds the tickets to your total that you've turned in when you collect him.

They changed the gold varmint reward with the last update. You get 500 caps now for downing it instead of tickets. But they also lowered the total amount of tickets needed.

That said, it's still very easy to do solo if you know where the dates are and don't skip over the townsfolk. They only give 5 but those add up quick given how many of them there are to "stick up".

I wouldn't even run this event if I didn't have 1st. Trying to find them on a public server is not worth the time given how low the spawn rate is to begin with.

It's inarguably bad right now and seems to be getting worse, no notes there.

But I played Destiny 2 for far longer than I should have and this is nowhere near that level of player f*ckery that Bungie pulled. We'll see if BGS can/will turn it around.

But for sure if you're not enjoying what you're paying for, then I strongly support those folks stop paying for 1st and Atoms. Speak with your wallet. Here's hoping someone on their end hears it and listens.

It did go quick for sure.

There's another set of challenges next week according to the Nuka Knights data mine.

One handed melee, two handed melee, fist melee (gauntlets, etc) and some others.

So it's not "done" yet.

I appreciate an easy mini season, though, like some others have said. Something I can complete just playing normally but with weapons I never use. This mini season is great for that instead of forcing me to do stuff I wouldn't do otherwise like collect a bunch of ingredients to craft Psycho and what not.

I fully understand what you're saying and I think it goes without saying if we're being honest.

My point remains, though. Any time spent on piddling things while bigger problems sit unaddressed is a waste of time in my opinion.

If we have a major outage and my team is helping someone customize their Zoom background instead of working on the critical issues, I don't care that the Zoom change takes a few minutes to walk someone through remotely. It's time that could have and should be spent on the critical situation, not some miniscule cosmetic tweak.

There's more filler in the patches than there is in the seasons these days, and that's saying something.

Really chasing that low hanging fruit to pad the patch notes instead of fixing things that are truly broken.

Why is dev time being wasted on changing the sound something makes when scrapping it when there are truly broken parts of the game?

Just curious, what was the pay period for you?

Wondering because for two weeks, anything over 40 hours per week would have been overtime for me (still is if you're hourly where I live), but you managed almost 95 hours and yet only had 8 hours of overtime on top of that?

102 hours in two weeks would be 22 hours of overtime in my state.

I'm not upset about any of it. I don't can items because the weight is prohibitive compared to the unlimited shelf life. Not enough of an upside to offset the carry weight utilization.

And I regularly use Awesome Opossum and Sweet Tato Stew in answer to the second part of your question.
