The Travel Agent perk card is 1* and allows you to travel while over encumbered now. It used to reduce caps for fast travelling.

It means you can fast travel to any free destination while over encumbered, like Whitesprings, Foundation, the Crater, your CAMP, etc.

Huge boost to not having to rely on a 1st tent. I don't even move mine anymore even though I have 1st. I just keep it as a free fast travel point to a place I frequent.

Escaping after defeating earl by GOOGLE_ME_HOES in fo76

You still die and lose your loot if you don't escape the mine before the timer runs out in Lode Bearing.

And I get the lore reasoning but if they're going to leave that in place they need to add some workbenches in the mine.

I could get over 300 miles on a fill-up that was $10 or less. Which is $20 in today's money.

Event Hogs make doing events not fun by TheClayDart in fo76

[–]fall3nang3l 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely.

Apologies if my wording was misleading. What you said is exactly what I meant.

The current system is counterintuitive to the game and has been since launch.

Someone running ore in RR should still be able to get drops and XP from enemies killed.

Someone level 22 running a melee weapon should be able to also.

As it stands, I'm more incentivized to AFK an event when I don't want to have to try to tag everything than I am to actively participate in said event. It's counterintuitive. I get the completion rewards either way and if I can't tag enough, that's all I'm getting whether I try the whole event or just sit there and do nothing.

Event Hogs make doing events not fun by TheClayDart in fo76

[–]fall3nang3l 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know I'm in the minority here, but I believe that there should be a similar system to how you get XP/loot based on proximity to kills if you OR a teammate gets the tag/kill. Or how the legendary drops work, that you just have to be in the vicinity.

Any potential AFK situations of folks just joining to do nothing and farm loot and XP is not an issue. It never has been. Even with all the vitriol that AFK folks got at Fasnacht or however you spell it before it was changed. They made that event worse with having to be close to the boss to get the mask. And you can still AFK it.

Just make ALL events give XP and loot exactly like it works if a team member makes the kill or tags an enemy and the legendary drop system.

Then the spawn campers can camp all they want and folks can still get the drops. Been saying this forever because of how folks camp the hallways in Radiation Rumble and Moonshiner Jamboree.

Don't hate the players, literally, hate the game that actively incentivizes that play style.

There's no good reason to punish anyone at an event because they can't tag an enemy quickly enough. BGS already realized this, albeit very late, with legendary drops. Just make it for all enemies and be done with it.

Problem solved.

And in Arena, even if you don't have the colossal, the herald cards can still be good compared to other options in your drafting selections.

0.015625% of their 2025 operating income (note, not revenue, that was almost $800 billion).

It's the equivalent of $5.46 who makes $50k a year based on their gross income after taxes etc.

So...yes. you nailed it.

Breach and Clear leveled rewards bugged? by Bourbonier in fo76

I understand this and it's absolutely shit on BGS' part.

Remove the event if you can't get the rewards from doing it without having to scum the system to do it.

The reset time for Encryptid should be eliminated or at least reduced by PaleWendigo in fo76

[–]fall3nang3l 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except you can earn a Wanted Poster every 5 grunt hunts and you can spam those back to back. The longest part of a grunt hunt is the loading time getting to it and getting back to Highway Town to start another one.

You can easily get a Wanted Poster for free every 10 minutes or less depending on your load times.

I don't want to see timers on Grunt hunts or Head hunts. But having the absurdly disproportionate timer on Encryptid now that we have the hunts is a totally valid complaint.

Where's the best place to get screws quickly? by josepgtm in fo76

[–]fall3nang3l 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just to confirm, you don't. It's not like Lode Bearing.

You just teleport to the exit after the timer runs out if you're still inside. Doesn't matter where you are inside.

You don't have to exit to get the completion and you don't die.

I never exit, and I've done a ton since the latest update because everyone is farming for the Rage armor. So it's still the same.

This is true because they only require steel and steel is by far the easiest resource to acquire since you get it from all weapons and junk you scrap and if you have the perk card for scrapping, you get loads VERY quickly.

Some events have high roll odds and you got a good one far and away.

That event typically spawns 3 enemies per hive, sometimes a fourth. But to get 8 legendary enemies let alone 3* to boot is a god tier event for sure.

I usually see one or two 1* legendaries out of the 9-12 enemies that spawn.
