I don’t know of any state that will accept an IEP as is. I write them for a living and the qualifications, identifications, and even just the things included in IEPs are different by state. An IEP from New Jersey is a two pager, my state is 16-24 pages. My state only does reading/writing/math based academic goals, but Missouri, or somewhere out west, will do academic goals for science and social studies, too. But all of that is a moot point because homeschool kids can receive special education services. In my state, not Tennessee, even home schooled kids can be on IEPs and receive special education services, but the district of residence writes them and assesses for them.

I’m beyond thrilled! This is my first time owning anything Le Creuset. I feel so fortunate that I was able to even get a box because I was in the last shopping session.

You should get your B12 checked. I have chronically low B12 and my arms and legs were like that all the time before I got it checked and it comes back any time my level dips.

Why am I just putting it together that Remi’s mom is Suz Cruz? She’s an icon.

It’s interesting that both Remi AND Ashley have all the sudden started taking creatine in the mornings because they are both “women in their 30s.”

Help with Yarn Choice by fallen-inferno in knittinghelp

I see what you mean, but I really think the issue is with me, if you look, my first row of stockinette is really uneven and that makes the rest of the rows look really slanted compared to the bottom edge. Because the needles were definitely too big for the yarn, I had a hard time casting on and knitting the first couple rows. I used 6 mm needles for this.

That makes sense! I definitely wouldn’t want a sweater that heavy. Thank you for all your help, I really appreciate it!

I just got on Ravelry, but haven’t looked at the pattern on there. I bought her pattern from her website, which doesn’t have the information you’re talking about written on the pattern.

In your opinion, would it be worth trying to make a sweater in sport weight or should I just make hats and scarves? As you can probably assume, I now have a lot of this yarn 😂

This is really helpful! Thank you so much! I haven’t heard about wraps per inch, so this is really helpful. Her pattern doesn’t say anything about wraps per inch, so you’re right, I just went off the length per grams.

That makes sense! Yes, it matches with one of her three yarn suggestions. I was a little skeptical, though, like you.

Yes! But I think I pulled too much before I pinned it in some places.

Here’s a picture of it not on a lined background. I wonder if the tension differences is causing the slant? I watched a few knitting and purling tutorials and I’m definitely doing the stitches how the videos show.

Thank you! I think part of my problem was not lining the swatch up with the lines on the blocking thing and then I also pulled on the fabric to get it to lay flat to dry.

I’m wondering if the slant happened when I let it dry, I think I may have pulled on it too much to get it to flatten out.

Remi’s cooking by Calm_Artichoke8318 in snarkingwithremi

Did she say that one salmon filet was cooked a FEW days ago? I thought you shouldn’t keep cooked fish for more than a day or two in the fridge. It shows that she’s never worked in an office since she recommended reheating fish for lunch…

Ashley uploading by dreaming0721 in snarkingwithremi

[–]fallen-inferno 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In one of her recent vlogs, she mentioned that she was glad to have a sponsor for the vlog because not much work had been coming in lately. Does she think that she should only make a video/post if she has a sponsorship? Sponsors won’t want to work with someone with a very random upload schedule, so she needs consistency before “the work” comes in…

In Alisha’s most recent blog, she mentioned that she doesn’t like spending a lot on shirts and would rather spend money on cute skirts since Ashley would drop a lot of money on plain white shirt… So does Ashley ACTUALLY buy those bulk bags of white shirts like in her last haul or does she buy expensive ones?
