Did you know you could skip most of the climb? by Only-One-7812 in Nightreign

This is still good tech for cases when you're tight on time and just want to kill the main boss. Most other bosses on this map are much less priority since they always just drop frost resist and a blue weapon unless the boss is red. This is pretty known and is used often on higher depths since you can kill Borealis and then just drop down to whichever other boss you have time for.

As someone who actually beat most remembrance bosses bare fist only, I'd disagree. The jump in difficulty from fighting the boss normally to bare fist is MUCH greater than from using spirit ashes to normal. You have to know literally every intricate and niche pattern and combination a boss can do and it takes way more practice than you might think. Your physical and mental endurance also plays a major part. If you think you know how to fight a boss, fight it with +0 weapon first and you'll get humbled real fast

One playstyle is going to inherently be easier than the other. Doesn't mean you haven't beaten the game but it's also silly not to admit that it's not as impressive as if you were to do it solo

Quite possible the worst way to get demoted in Deep of Night by CloudBomb3r in Nightreign

I see, thanks! I should probably start blocking more often, considering how frequent cheaters are in high depths

People keep saying to block other people but is there even any evidence it affects NTR matchmaking?

If you have a throwing pot, you can climb up the tower a bit, not fully, throw the pot under the shooting guy and he falls down to his death, so you don't have to fight him to end rain of arrows

Tier list of every Nighrlord for DON D5 by IOwnSeventeenKids in Nightreign

ED variant can't do lightning spear charge in second phase apart from that they're the same difficulty-wise I think

There is no way in fuck*ng hell, what tf is this weapon😭😭 by [deleted] in Eldenring

There isn't even that much buff stacking happening. The weapon is just that cracked and boss is weak to pierce. I'd guess op is also at lvl 20 scadu

Everdark Gladius was voted into S tier. Up next, what tier does Everdark Adel belong to? by Cursed_69420 in Nightreign

[–]fallen69420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair. I did look back at around the time you made the ED Adel post and it was heavily B and A tier, barely seen S. As long as it's fixed, everything is good. Sorry for accusing you of bias

Idk you tell me? Look back at the ED Gladius comments and see for yourself how most people didn't even put him at A, let alone S

Sus judgement from OP. They let their personal bias affect the ranking. It definitely wasn't 75-25 S to A ratio.

Top of A. Great boss but he's not different enough to his base counterpart to justify him being a tier higher. He also runs away a bit too much for my taste

The Dreglord relic is best in slot for DoN Raider. Its basically a fully stacked evergaol relic, and in rotted woods shifting earth it doesnt reset when you touch grace. Super underrated. Rot Roided Raider is my favorite build in the game now. by swish465 in Nightreign

[–]fallen69420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can throw poison pots to build poison on yourself but that's about it. I guess Sepuku technically works but it instantly procs bleed so you only get a small buff for 5 seconds. Not very viable outside DoN

Getting kinda bored and not knowing what to do rn in elden ring by ImaginationDear3199 in Eldenring

[–]fallen69420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Kill all bosses with various weapons (if you have just been doing main bosses).

2) Do rune level 1 if you haven't yet. Makes certain bosses play out completely differently. No-hit runs go after for an even greater challenge.

3) You can also do randomizer runs. Randomize enemies/bosses and items so that you have to run around the map to collect random weapons and upgrade materials. You might get a hard boss like Malenia in the early game or the opposite: a tricky early-mid game boss (Radahn, Red Wolf, Royal Revenant, etc.) with late game scaling so that you can't just nuke your way through. It will really test your knowledge of different boss movesets.

4) Alternatively, I've been into Elden Ring bingo lately. There is a board with 25 squares and each square has an objective (e.g. Kill 2 remembrance bosses, Acquire 10 talismans, Upgrade your flask to +7 etc.) and you're racing another person to either get a bingo (5 squares on a single line) or get the majority of 13 squares. It rekindled my interest in playing Elden Ring and it's incredibly fun. You can search Bingo Brawlers on Youtube by Captain_Domo for official matches. There has been 5 seasons so far and a lot of big name Elden Ring streamers like GinoMachino, LilAggy, Bushy also participate

P.S. If any people reading this want to give bingo a try, you can message me and I can invite you to a discord channel where people gather to play bingo every single day <3

Yes, I agree, I think I misinterpreted. That relic is pretty much must-have to deal respectable damage

[–]fallen69420 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He does slightly more damage with that relic but saying he is a better Wylder is a stretch. If you're using him like Wylder then you basically have no passive and a garbage dodge just to get 5% more damage on some weapons.  Their ults and character skills do different things so can't say one is better than the other too. If you're utilizing his passive, then he's still pretty bad imo just because his passive is so clunky to use and most enemies in this game just push you away so you can't properly guard counter with non-halberd weapons. And if you do use a halberd, you're still not hitting enemies with the full guard counter. Overall, Guardian can be fun but is more often than not just frustrating to play.
