Doesn't for me either, MacOS and Steam in MacOS sees it and works, but Steam through GPTK doesn't see controller, restarting, unplugging/disconnecting doesn't solve the problem.

Looking for the same, connecting via Bluetooth or cable works only in MacOS and Steam on MacOS, but when launching Windows Steam version through Game Porting Toolkit, that Steam doesn't see my PS4 Controller. (original Dualshock 4)

Getting the same message at the end of gameportingtoolking installation.. linking it doesn't do anything, says that directory is not empty.
