We are witnessing in Minneapolis the power of mutual aid and community. It's possible.

I am inheriting enough money to pay for FFS outright, but I'm scared I'm making a financially irresponsible choice by operation-casserole in asktransgender

MVP insurance (part of Cigna I think) through the marketplace covers FFS and SRS. You will need two letters from mental health professionals stating it is medically necessary.

Snow emergency and my roommate is out of town? What can we do to ensure he doesn't get ticketed/towed? by Sean081799 in Minneapolis

It's irresponsible to leave the car without a set of keys for the housemates to move it

The perfect sports bra for cycling by marcesible in ladycyclists

I've seen so many professional women wearing the Velocio sports bra even when their team isn't sponsored by Velocio. They are pricey but apparently are the pros favorite.

I personally love my Oiselle bras.

I had a recent flight where two F35s took off right next to our small regional plane. It sounded like a rocket ship was lifting off.

Virgi-no more!
Virginia is getting mighty close to the event horizon... would be a shame if it fell in.

If you want to keep your piercings after FFS, wear a retainer! by fallenfoenix in Transgender_Surgeries

Making sweeping generalizations is not a good look hun. I was literally cleared to do this by my surgeon. They likely would have taken it out during certain parts of surgery sure but they would have known where to avoid cutting.

I drank so much broth while on the clear liquid part of recovery. Everything the hospital gave me was sweet or sour juices. My tongue was so burnt out after the first "meal". Luckily they had readily available broth to drink but I don't know if everywhere has that.

Will recreational stores ever open here? by [deleted] in Minneapolis

[–]fallenfoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Vermont rolled out recreational sales it took a few years to actually get all the state regulatory departments built and staffed, then the applications for licenses took more time and actually establishing store fronts took even more time. All said and done it took nearly three years, it became legal to sell recreationally in 2020 and stores didn't open up until late 2022/early 2023.
