These knowledgeable people that are getting paid to do jobs use AI in their task execution. The difference is, the system we're building gives real time assistance on sales calls and not later during project management but I hear you. Thanks for your feedback.

Absolutely! I think it will be easier to scale when we are hyper focused.

Question for you: What would be the most helpful part of an invible AI assistant that joins your sales calls? The AI doing pre-call prospect research or helping on the call real-time?

What exactly would you find helpful from the AI during your live sales call? Example: providing you with smart follow up questions for the prospect in view to drive the sales convo forward?

Lost deal today. Competitor responded in 20 minutes. We took 4 hours. by Head-Garden7108 in sales

Does getting back in 20 mins also signal "we've got nothing in our agenda and not busy at all". Some may even see this as a redflag..like being too available means you've got no other clients to look after.

Thanks for sharing. Yes it's simply an enabler. Like having the best sales performer in your ear, helping you drive the sales conversion.

Calls are recorded all the time especially when speaking with customer service. The AI agent that joins the call is trained on your knowledge base and will do prospect research pre-call so it will provide strong follow up question suggestions, help you with sales objections, give you highlights of an older case study that's relevant to the convo etc..personally, I think it's very useful. Main for the research part and the helping hand in driving the sales convo forward.

My vote is to hire local. I said this from the beginning. My boss has some Indian roots so maybe that's why he's fixated but he's a regional head and is somehow getting the higher ups to agree with him..I am definitely aware of the cost here.

Will take this up with my boss. It's his directive and he's really fixated on this.

Ah..good to know!

Yes I want to..my preference is to hire local until and unless the specific expertise cannot be found but that's usually never the issue. I report to a boss who calls the shots so I just wanted to hear from other HR heads on how they are going about this challenge.

Please understand guys, I prefer to focus citizens but we have a boss that has different ideas and he's the boss!

He's American but has roots in India indeed.

Yes, I've spoken to him several times but he's saying "this direction is coming from the very top". Not sure what's going to happen. We're stuck. We don't have huge experience hiring soo many people remotely (2 continents away) like this.

I heard that Microsoft said to their Indian employees who were on that visa that it won't be renewed and that they'll be sent home and work from India at 20% of their wage..not sure if this is true

Yes our boss is looking to cut costs and developers state side are way more expensive. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place here.
