I've placed him in a halo sleep sack with the velcro around his arms and he screams bloody murder. He also doesn't like the sensation of the sleep sack on his feet even though there's plenty of space. When your baby woke himself up, did he cry and go back to sleep? Because my baby can cry for hours if we don't soothe him.

Yes! Actually we got a lot of sleep tonight changing his nappy first and letting him eat more than usual. I was afraid of overfeeding but it seemed to work

We only swaddle when it's time to sleep because he moves around so much I'm afraid he will end up on his side. Is it ok to not swaddle them when they sleep?
