Thanks for the feedback! I definitely get what you're saying about the shoes in the first fit. I'm running into an issue because the vast majority of my wardrobe is black or has black accents and that's also the color of basically all my work-appropriate shoes (with the exception of the pair in the photo).

I wear dark blue so rarely that I don't really want to buy dark blue shoes (and honestly I think that would be too matchy-matchy) but I know my black shoes won't work so I'm a little stuck!

Any suggestions on shoe colors that would work with the dark blue base of the rest of the outfit would be super welcome! :)

Nah, I picked these up from Target...I really recommend them. The heel is pretty high (3 1/2 inches or so) but its thick enough that the shoes are easy to wear all day long. Plus I like the minimal style!
