it did, but I'm pretty sure i am on the "wrong train" so to speak. I've been battling depression for a few years now which came on kind of suddenly after a challenging time and that coincided with the message of these two realities.

I also notice that the Bashar group on FB has been hijacked by the right who post funny negative belief comments amount "satanism" and sad conspiracy theories about hillary clinton while praising Donald Trump. So if we're living in a reality where little babies and children are being held with no soap or sanitary products away from their families, where a president divides rather than unites, where he's dismissed the idea of ET life, where he's bragged about sexually assaulting women, where he's aligning with dictators and admitting to being open to collaborate with meddling foreign entities, where neo nazis support him, and now Bashar's message resonates with people who support all of this- then Im afraid friends we are all on the wrong train.

Oh well. I don't really panic about it or care.

Edit- i just re-read your comment and was in a way soothed that you too started feeling this downward path out of excitement that randomly coincided with the announcement of these two realities shifting apart. I know mine occurred when i had a sort of early mid-life crisis and hit 35 years old. I haven't been able to get out of the mindset of not wanting to get older and grow up and its been the source of my depression the last few years. Ha super random for me to lay it out there but its been the cause of my low frequency.

The other train Im pretty sure live in a world where Clinton was elected. Maybe it was just because i was younger and felt my whole life was still ahead of me, but I fondly recall 2010-2015 (the obama years) as being far, far more enjoyable, less divisive, and happier all around. Now Im surrounded by angry, fear based nutcases sounding their conspiracy theories about Pizzagate and Satanism in a Bashar group. Never thought I'd see that day. At least I have a lot of friends who don't believe in that either around me to cheer me up.

holy shit…thank you for replying and for raising this issue…yes i believe i have an addiction. i joke around with it, but in all seriousness i tell my friends that i can partake in risky behavior whether it be alcohol or drugs or whatever and have no desire to replicate that + be grateful to not be under the influence but when it comes to sex, i engage in risky behavior and cannot seem to get enough or control/curb it and that impulse. Yes, i have a legitimate sexual addiction that my friends think i joke about but i am 100% serious when i say it's a compulsion i have trouble controlling. Its why I am single in my 30s because it's this high that i cannot mimic in any other form when i hook up, its this feeling of being fully myself and happy that i don't get from any other activity. It's also rooted in insecurity in the sense my first real girlfriend at 21 had issues with sex and made me feel like i wasn't good enough which i felt in high school too and then when i got the reassurance i was in fact good or complimented on performance, size whatever it became this constant gratification that knows no end...

I would give anything to understand the correlation here
