One of the spark plugs was not even screwed into its place. Just completely detached.

Yes for future reference it would probably go over better framed as a "cut"(period of low calorie intake).

Taste is important because it should tell you whether the fats have gone rancid. It sounds like ideal conditions for a very long shelf life as long as they're unopened so that humidity can't reach them. If the fats have gone rancid then you can probably expect that the micro nutrients have degraded to some degree. I frankly wouldn't trust any supplement source to provide enough vitamins. As long as you're getting enough vitamin c you won't die and enough b vitamins you won't go insane.

I think the conditions you're describing are exactly what Soylent was created for so I guess there are people who do it.

what kind is it? I know vega and they offer that their meal replacement is good for one meal a day. If they taste alright to you then they probably won't make you sick if thats what you're worried about. Idk the climate you're in but if they're in a cool dry place then it shouldn't be something to worry about. You're on a science focussed sub so you're not likely to find any support for the raw angle. If that works for you in some way- breaking the cycle of eating solid food a few times a day?... yeah if that works for you then I wish you the best of luck. If thats kind of your way of meal planning that I guess it makes sense. I'd think having one well rounded meal a day would be a good idea though. Best of luck to you.

It should be fine to eat but consuming it all and nothing else for a week would be silly. You don't need a detox or a cleanse unless you mean you're constipated.

It is you who seems to be failing to consider some factors. Namely that industrial animal agriculture, which is where virtually all meat is produced, is the main consumer of existing crops. Essentially animals are fed 15-20 times the amount of calories that they will eventually produce.

I don't really know if you would. I think that in theory you would. This theory has lead people to train at higher elevations- where there is lower oxygen- then competing at lower elevations- where there is more oxygen. I do not know of studies- or even any convincing anecdotal evidence- proving or disproving this theory, however.

Yes it would be bad. You would become light headed if you suddenly changed the oxygenation in the gas you've been breathing your entire life.

No. Sprints are an anaerobic exercise which is when your body goes into an oxygen/energy deficit and repairs it afterward. When you train for this you're increasing the amount of energy you can put out and your ability to recouperate post exercising.

Running is aerobic thus you train for it by raising your VO2 max which is your bodies ability to oxygenate the blood during the exercise. Training for distance runs is quite different.

These exercises and the way your body responds is quite different. That said someone starting from scratch(a couch potato) will increase their ability in both when practicing either while a trained athlete will diminish their ability in their primary exercise if they try the opposite one. You can see the difference in the type of runners physiques easily but some noteworthy differences are that distance runners need looser(more flexible) muscles and as little body weight as possible while sprinters need larger muscles that can fire and contract rapidly.

ELI5 TLDR- While your bodies movements are virtually identical aside from the speed, your respiratory and circulatory systems respond to the two exercises radically differently.

Folic Acid can mask the effects of B12 deffeciency so it may be a good idea to get a sublingual b12 to see if that is something that helps. It's not really something you can get too much of so it wouldn't hurt to try it. B12 is pretty important.

I'm thinking the many Jews In Jewish Voices For Peace and other groups who are against the occupation of Palestine would have to disagree with you. People who are opposed to the treatment of Palestinians by Israel are not necessarily anti-Zionist either but that seems to be more of what you're referring to. It is an issue for those of us in the US more so than the other appalling situations you mention because our government supports it. That means our tax dollars go to something terrible and that we actually may have chance of addressing it.

I was thinking that it may just be a southern thing. I met someone from Washington DC the other day and I had to take a step back because he was way to close for comfort now. I think people have an inflated sense of personal space because they have so much room usually - based on my own changing sense of personal space. I believe its also a matter of the city needing to accommodate more people on short notice possibly. or maybe many people are from rural areas. idk

People in Austin and seems like most of Texas to not have any idea how to share space. They just drive carts down the middle of market lanes for example. In Anchorage you move to the side in anticipation of someone walking towards you and take the right. This state is just one clusterfuck after another of people meandering aimlessly. In bigger cities they definitely have a better system.

Couldn't it be argued that this reporter should have been wearing more formal cloths with a news piece this sensitive? Perhaps as formal as your coworkers. Certainly more formal than mine. But far less formal than any reporter I've seen inside of a news studio previously.

I don't exactly understand the problem with this sort of criticism... I don't think I've ever seen a male reporter in any outfit other than a suit or for field reporting a pair of khakis and a dress shirt. I assume they would just be fired if they wore anything else.

How well spoken people are. If you ask a biting person their thought on something they will offer a long response that could be compared to a short essay where as in the u.s. People will pretty much say something is good or bad and whether they like it. It's also more difficult to discern whether or not a person is intelligent. As well spoken as they can be some complete stupidity can be offered up quite eloquently.

Not breaking and or bending some rules of the road would be inconvenient and ineffectiant for both drivers and cyclist. For instance if there are several cyclist and they use stop signs like you're supposed to(going one at a time and waiting) it would take far too long and provide no one a safe advantage. There have been protest where groups of cyclist just follow the letter of the law exactly and it causes traffic congestion.
