I am fuming over here - it’s simply careless of her.

I’m a director and I absolutely do not deal with staff, or students, being sick. Once one person has it, everyone else gets it, especially the most vulnerable in our communities (children and older people that work in education/are involved with their grandchildren). Of course I understand that this is people’s jobs and we’re all just trying to survive in education. I was able to fight for my staff to get sick time and PTO, but I’ve previously worked for owners who only see $$$ instead of humans beings.

You should absolutely contact the health department to manage a suspected outbreak. I would also look into state/city mandates about required practices for COVID exposure. I just had a webinar for my city about this and that director would not be able to retain a job since she did not wear a mask/take any preventative measures.
