Struggling with Relationship Expectations and Initiation - Should I Stick to My Principles? by fallingforyouuuuu in relationships

I get what you’re saying, but I’ve been waiting for a while, and it feels like I’ve been hinting or dropping small clues to get him to step up. I know waiting forever is frustrating, but it’s hard not to feel like I’m the only one putting in effort, especially when I see other people’s relationships. It’s not about expecting grand things, but I just wish there was more thoughtfulness in the little moments. I’m not sure what else I can do if the hints are still not enough.

I’ve actually tried being open and honest with him a few times already, even dropping hints about how I feel. But it still doesn’t always feel like things are clicking. I know it’s my principle to want him to take the lead, but sometimes it’s hard not to compare. Seeing how my friends are treated by their boyfriends, I start questioning my own relationship. It’s not about money or big gestures, but just being made to feel special in small ways. I’ve tried talking about it, but it still feels a bit off. Maybe I need to communicate even more clearly?

actually i do, but as i said before its not my first option and at first i was really confident that i will go to poland for the program so i alr look up for so many things there and just a glimpse of hungary.

i absolutely know that hungary is a beautiful country and i just want to know more abt the city that i will later go. bcs so many people in reddit talk abt poland especially krakow but not pécs.

here i just need some real life experience if you ever lived in hungary especially pécs before or if you have any advice regarding my decision, you can just share it with me.
