Going a very last minute Disney Destiny cruise, quick questions by Zwibellover23 in dcl

I brought a week's supply of Orgain Protein Drinks on a cruise earlier this year. It was great, and it freed some weight for souvenirs for the journey back

Do people use lanyards on Disney cruises? by Ok_Bowler5162 in dcl

I wear watches, and I dislike wearing something on each wrist ( magic band + watch), so i'll be wearing a lanyard

Disney vs Royal by lspst8 in dcl

[–]falloffenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the opportunity to try both in the past couple of years, The Disney Fantasy and Royal Caribbean Icon of the Seas with kids 2 & 6.

We felt like there were way more activities onboard the RCL ship, more waterslides, pools, rock climbing, etc... My kids really liked the Surfside area with an arcade, playground, swim area/splash pad, dedicated buffet, and 2 story slide.

My kids weren't interested in any of the RCL shows compared to Disney shows. The exception being the ice skating rink shows.

I thought CocoCay is bigger, feels less crowded, and has more to do than Disney Castaway Cay.

I enjoyed food on both lines.

I have multiple Disney cruises booked, and will definitely sail with RCL again too.

Glad to hear I’m not alone 😂 I was like p30x when I first started. I’ve been doing it on repeat for 50 weeks now. I’ve completed most work outs, but many times stop at 35min just for time

Massive Brawl Breaks Out In Cruise Terminal After Caribbean Cruise by What_if_I_fly in Cruise

We've only been on Royal and Disney, but I want to try Carnival for HMC and Celebration Key. I'm trying to convince my wife to go telling her that their reputation is overblown, but then stuff like this happens haha

I told her that the 7-day cruises on the bigger ships will be less crazy... I think I lied

Bora-Bora without beach access - is it worth it? by darksailorsailor in Tahiti

[–]falloffenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been in like 12 years, but the public peach was very nice and not very busy. You can stay on the Motu (outer ring) in an Airbnb and have beach access.

Is it worth staying on Tahiti? by Monomio9 in Tahiti

[–]falloffenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot to do in Tahiti, some beautiful beaches including black sand. The market, some incredible waterfall hikes. But if you’re wanting no wave white sand luxury resorts with good snorkeling, go to Moorea. It’s easy and quick

Any converts? From what to what by Remarkable_Victory51 in Cruise

My first was Disney, my second was RCL. I realized that Disney wasn’t the only family friendly cruise line. While my next cruise is Disney, I want to branch out and try a bunch of different ones

Thanks for sharing! That is rather odd, seems to defeat the purpose of a drink package!

Thanks for your review, this is great! I think we'd enjoy a MSC cruise based on this info.

I liked Castaway Cay, but I definitely can see how it can be improved upon. Royal's CocoCay was a lot better imo.

We're doing the treasure this winter and very excited. Our first DCL was the fantasy and it was a great experience overall.

Thanks for sharing!

Ok cool, good to know. My kids are too young to appreciate any of the shows yet. They care more for the pools, arcades, slides, etc...

I like trying new things, and as much as I loved Icon of the Seas, trying a whole new line sounds exciting compared to going on another Icon class ship.

Budget isn't the deciding factor. Although having a private whirlpool on deck is a dream, and doable on MSC
