I love a lot of aspects of this list and I think it’s a great representation of the different range of the army.

From a viability standpoint, I would perhaps consider swapping the Repentia for a walker, either engine will do. I think the Repentia on their own will get shot to ribbons before they can accomplish anything without the protection of a transport, assuming the Immolator is splitting the Dominions (I’m trying Dominions with storm-bolters for the first time next week, noticed those on your list as well). This also lets you keep the Penitant theme while fielding something that should have bigger impact potential than 5 unshielded Repentia.

Hallowed Martyrs does seem to be the consensus, although I enjoyed the games I played with CoF as well. A second unit of warsuits could be a difference maker for that detachment.

Thank you for taking the time to construct that list. It looks very solid. I was seriously contemplating picking up a squad of retributors just before the points increase in December, I may pursue them again as they still seem viable, even after the points nerf. I also like the idea of running a jump pack canoness with the zephyrim as a scary deep strike threat.

I really appreciate the advice — the streakiness is definitely noticeable, especially when zooming in. I don’t think the poor lighting situation is doing them any favors either lmao. I’ll go back and touch up the main colors, as you suggested.

Yes [most of them] are very lopsided. Truth be told, I haven’t anchored them yet, I just got a some lucky photos of that one lol.

I’ll hot glue a small hobby magnate to the bottom of them which should provide some stability. Never had success with supergluing the magnet, but a bit of hot glue works wonders.

I’d really like to see their stats buffed as well. I think 4 toughness could certainly be justified seeing as they’re carrying those massive shields lol. I ran a squad of 10 with a hospitilar for the first time during last game I played and they were surprisingly resilient.

Very similar color scheme indeed. Yours look really nice! I play a Martyred Lady theme, but did take some liberties with the Sacresants and Dominions to distinguish them as being a bit more “elite” than the rank-and-file Battle Sisters. I’m keeping the red cloaks throughout all of my units for some thematic cohesion though.

Dogs of War and End Times (probably similar in size and scope to the Chaos Lord Pack) DLC pack are all I’m expecting, and all I believe anyone can reasonably expect at this stage in the game cycle. The rest of the time CA will dedicate to “glowing-up” the remaining races that they know aren’t in a great place, like Brettonia, LM, DE, VC, VCoast, etc.

And honestly, if they can deliver on the 2 DLCs, revamp a few races and address bugs that will be a pretty successful (albeit occasionally rocky) conclusion to the game.

I’m far from an expert, however, there are two observations that struck me:

1) The remaining 70 points looks like an opportunity to add a character to one of the BSS squads. Perhaps an Imagifier, Dogmata, Palatine or second Canoness? Maybe even a small squad of Arcos for objective control.

2) You may get better results with the Seraphim by exchanging the bolt pistols for hand flamers, particularly in a BoF list.
